ATI Radeon dark?

Hey guys iw searched in forum a bit but didnt find the right awnser. Well anyway the question is........how come my game is sudenly so dark at night.....it looks like iw only got 3 colours ......black green and grey..... at night that is......at day its cool. Also dark objects look´s strange, again those 3 colours. Graphic beacamed like this since im using ATI Radeon 9200 SE 128MB.......i wanted to test if ATI cards works good but it looks like they dont? Anyway is there anything like that in settings i shuld do about it so i can fix my little problem?  wink_o.gif

P.S. iw tryed to encreas Brightnes and Gamma correction but it didnt help.  mad_o.gif

That's a problem with newer ATI cards (8500 -> at least), sadly. sad_o.gif Everything at night is black and white. It's the pixel shader support that does it.

Nope,I think my last color at night video card was my tnt (voodoo also)

Newer video cards will have b&w at night and its more realistic,many topics regarding this

There is no way you searched for this, since this has been mentioned tons of times. It's not a "problem" with newer Radeon cards, either, it affects all cards with HW T&L and Pixelshader 1.0.

The night vision you are seeing now is more realistic, and there is no way to turn it off besides disabling the shaders using a tweaker program. That is something that can be done using RivaTuner for NVIDIA cards, and something like that might exist for Radeon cards, too.
