Don't demand. If they didn't say anything would that of been better? They can release it when they want. They gave a approximate release day so we know that it is really close to release. You don't know when it will be released on sunday. Pehaps maybe late at night or even tomorrow for some. It would be nice if tonight smile_o.gif . And also there are time zones so take that into consideration. If it's sunday at your house it doesn't mean its sunday and the developers house.  wink_o.gif Also I have a question. What time zone is the release in? I am in west coast of US. Where is the release taking place?

The developers are from Germany and we have 23.12 o'clock here now. So, only 48min and we have Monday.

Ok, so the chances of getting the train sunday have disappeared. sad_o.gif I guess we will have to wait a bit more. Or maybe they will release in the last 5 mins. tounge_o.gif

How much usefull would a train be if there arent any tracks rock.gif . Maybe the guys decided to release the train and island at the same time? Would make sense no rock.gif .

At the moment the AEF_Train.pbo (and of cause the release version too) will include :

- 7 static train signs

- 1 train cross signal (animated)

- 1 engine

- 1 bogie (for the engine)

- 6 different types of wagons

- 12 types of goods

- 2 small railroad 'stations'

- 1 wall clock (useable at the small stations or at every building you want)

- 1 big railroad station house (including greater wall clock in same design)

- 2 different train platforms (for the big railroad station house)

- 1 curved track

- 1 straight track

- 1 switch track

- 1 buffer track

- 1 road crossing

- 1 lower/liftable ramp

- 2 bridge parts (road & track)

- some new animations for units

- some new sounds

- some new icons

- all the train scripts

- a readme

- and all i've forgotten  smile_o.gif

So i think the train will work like a charm smile_o.gif

Thank the Gods its nearly here.......I have been waiting for months for this train......and the Ideas that we could use with it,,,thanks to AEF...this will be another turn point in addons for OFP.....with this addon we now have all Transports completed...... biggrin_o.gif

Thanks once again AEF for completing the the circle..

i dont mind when they release it... aslong as i dont have to download it again 2days later cos there was a major bug

I really wouldn't mind that. I am always downloading something.  biggrin_o.gif

Can we get someone with the mod to let us know what happend? Maybe the release date wasn't set for sunday and it was just a rumor?! I would like some "official" news if possible of course. Thanks in advance. smile_o.gif

That's our opinion as well. I understand you completly but we want to give you a nearly perfect train. smile_o.gif

Indeed, a AI problem appeared during final testings and meanwhile we're improving the train with some new features and I'm making 1-2 missions similar to the first mission in MS Train Simulator, where you learn to drive the train, attach wagons and so on.

These small things, you know?

We're working on the train since 2 years and now we want to finish this off as cleanly as possible, without any bugs.
