@cero 0 Posted March 21, 2004 Hey Lee, you definitly should get permission for them textures and truks. It is in fact, something needed in OFP for a long time. I wouldn't boder with armed versions, it will make the pack much bigger and be soon absolete by the BAS ones. Besides, now you got Hummers to look after them. But if you make a nice, practical, and small pack, that will never be absolete and people will be able to download a small pack to play a cuple of missions with more ease than a big pack. @CERO. MfG Lee Maybe waiting is silly Lee Those are still BiS trucks and the only thing left are the small config and the fact they made it a seperate truckpack. Just mentioning them in the readme should be enough, you sended a request for something thats BiS and not very well known among the players. Now to a better point any chance of getting some FMTV Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/m1083.htm which has been in the army's service since 1996 and are widely used everywheres now because they are more reliable than the current 5t truck. Would be really nice to see some of these :-) They look alot like that BW mod truck pack that was released a while back. -BlackDeath- 0 Posted March 23, 2004 I decided I kinda wanted a woodland 5t pack so i made it in about 10 min ofcourse some editing is needed for the repair trucks tool box but other than that it looks quite good :-D If anyone wants this let me know i am gonna ask jonno or abuu for permission to use it next time i see him on my msn. Heres a pic. miles teg 1 Posted March 23, 2004 I agree, the FMTV's are awesome trucks. Â Just make sure to include the 3rd "bitch seat" in the middle of the cab of the truck. Â It's kinda like the 3rd seat in Adammo's C130v2 addon where the seat is positioned above and to the rear of the driver and shotgun passenger seats. Â But they are very nice trucks that can be configured in tons of different ways for all kinds of missions. Â Essentially they are the humvees of the military truck world. Â Comfortable, reliable, versatile, and tough... Â oh and they can mount a gun on their roof turret ring on the cab. Â Personally I'd love to see a "ninja'ed" FMTV troop carrier like some US Army units used during the Iraq invasion where they had a M240, M2, or MK-19 mounted on them and were lined with sandbags and rucksacks on their sides and the troops in the caro area were sitting with weapons pointed outwards. Â Â Too bad troops can't fire from trucks in OFP though. Â Here's a pic kinda showing what I'm talking about (although minus the sandbags and stuff on the sides).
