OMG that`s pure art,it really looks like ragdoll physics..Have also a request.Could you please make animations for when bomb explodes from the back of the soldier and for the rear?

I have a couple ideas for anims, I don't know how doable they are, though.

1. A parachute landing animation. Believe it or not, there's a proper way to land when using a parachute. You kind of collapse, your feet hit first, then fall onto your side - knees, thighs/butt, hips and then arms. I haven't been able to find a video of the proper technique, but it would be cool to have.

2. Idle animations. Is there any way that units can display "idle" behavior when their behavior is safe or careless? Right now, they just kind of stand there. How about random possibilities that for every minute they are idle (not walking and with their weapon on their back) there is a random possibility that they might scratch their head/butt/whatever, pick their nose, smoke a cigarette, or just stand differently (hand in pocket, hand on hip, etc.).

Are any of those possible?

Nice ideas,and if I remember corectly in the demo there was such an indle smoking animation..Maybe it could be done the same way know..

Parachute Anims.

I have some ..

Static Fly Position

Correct Landing like ur description is in the work..

And Land Without parachute smile_o.gif nearly finished..

But i dont know how i can use them ...

I was thinking about an Jump out of a driving car Anim.

For smoking anims i need a soldier with Cigarette.(Handgun Replace).

Thinking about Hit by Car Anim too .

There are too much to do for me smile_o.gif

Seriously Injured Soldier Anims..

I need some serious Injured Soldiers for that wink_o.gif

I have some Anims but looks boring without wounds smile_o.gif

And normal OFP wounds are bad and not realistic.

Maybe 2-3 diffrent injured Sodliers like :

Soldier with missing leg or Arm . (Maybe only a part of leg or arm).

And with diffrent high res wound textures.

I dont want to make a splatter game but i think its a War Simulation and War is brutal.

At the Moment OFP is nearly a Mens World. sad_o.gif

OFP need Children,better looking Womans and Animals.

Specially more for that civillian world like Firefighters and police officers or something like that to bring more atmosphere.

More small detailed Islands like Sarugo.

Better One Detailed City than 10 Ghost Towns.

Maybe here is anyone who can realize something from that..

One Small Island that is just one Really big big city, and you can put a addon in (just like the Klinks addon instead of Birds now you have people driving trough the city, Talking, Sitting al kind of stuff. and then you could reskin the wounded skin and dead skin biggrin_o.gif

I'm using a script that use a combination of animations mixed up with drop comand.

If any of you tryed the "pissing" script and downloaded the demo mission you'll be able to find it in there.

FDF mod use it a few times in their campaign.

Smoking is a must. All people who have served know how much members of the military like to "smoke and joke" when taking a break from duty.

A cool animation would be taking the pack of cigarettes out of a shirt pocket, tapping one or two out and then lighting up by cupping a hand over the tip. Passing the second cig to a buddy and lighting his up would be even cooler.

I think you should finish that replacement pack I just DL'd yesterday :P

THEN do the others smile_o.gif Sorry, I just love those new animations but would love to see them finished.

For a good looking Replacment Pack (Only non static anims no cargo anims) i have to change 107 Anims smile_o.gif.....

I will release a little replace pack for standing Rpg anims soon.

That replace pack will have only 19 Anims.

After Pack 4 i will only work on replace stuff.

A laughing animation would be nice aswell, it could go like that:

Head tilt packwards and the units back arches to the back following the head movement. It should be a separation between the two feet.

Another one could be the other way round, stomach arches forward with the face looking down. Some compulsions on the chest and shoulders produced by the spontaneous intakes of air in the longs, and you'll have a bunch of jockers smoking and taking the piss of each other biggrin_o.gif

And it would be better to get some flash and ligt that actually comes from it.

BTW, smoke is no good for you, it can kill you, specially if you are the one that gets his fag lighted on third place. That's when the sniper open fire.

that would be nice, wouldn't be.
