@cero 0 Posted April 14, 2005 to let everyone know i am making a kantuckee rifle and a Brownbess ... Nice, a Kentucky rifle would go well with a Ferguson and a Baker rifle too. The Ferguson was used by the American Colonies forces, but I don't think the Baker ever reached America, this was what the English used against the French, so I very much doubt that it made it across the puddle, but it would be a nice adition. tsalagikola 0 Posted April 15, 2005 here is a close up of the flintlock action does it need to be changed and in what way, sometime tomorrow i will have my test man fixed for a download here so you can use the rifles in game if you wish for a better look
Sepe 1 Posted April 15, 2005 If i'm not mistaken, the back part goes into an about 45 degrees angle, and the front part also leans more. That's if those were pics of an already fired musket. Then again, if it's before the shot, the front part should be peaking directly upwards too. May put some pics taken of my replica-flintlock, to demonstrate. @cero 0 Posted April 15, 2005 Forward you meen, yes. But in some other pics it looks like if its on 90 degrees. Another pic for reference. Regards. @CERO.
tsalagikola 0 Posted April 16, 2005 here it is the bayonets don't work right now and the brownbess does have a extra rifle in the config but later i will put something in its place go down the page and look for free click on that then in about 30 seconds it will let you download MUSKET and RIFLE test
Sepe 1 Posted April 16, 2005 Here's some pics I took with my webcam then... Pic one, before the shot. Yeah, this is a replica pistol, and the flintstone is a solid part of the lock. Pic two, after the shot. Man, I love pulling the lock back after shot

Combat Chaplain 0 Posted May 1, 2005 A long time ago, far far away, I was Rifleman in the Napoleonic Flashpoint forum and website, and loved the Napoleonic units. It'll be really nice to see the Napoleonic Wars return to OFP. To those of us who have seen the Sharpe's Rifles movies, or read the books (I've done both, even ended up buying a multi-region DVD player to play my Sharpe's DVDs I somewhat erroneously ordered from England) OFP fits that kind of action, or skirmishers, better than the massed tight formations typical of the time. Here's to the 95th Rifles!
Sepe 1 Posted May 1, 2005 Man, that's one big gun! Lookin' good, I'll DL 'em when they come out! I love those historical weapons and stuff! Hmm, anyone wanna sell me a blackpowder rifle?

ProfTournesol 956 Posted May 1, 2005 Wahoo !! Â That's excellent !!! Your pictures are quite dark, but units are looking very nice. Did play a lot with old Napoleonic units, before CWmod. And with your Independance war soldiers. I remember that Gavin made French soldiers as opponents to his 95th light soldiers but never released them. Maybe you could use them. Once the CW horse will be ready, we will have cavalry charges with sword...(no problemo, with a script close to UKF bayonet one, I did it a few times ago). What kind of riffles do you use ? They should be less precise than cw ones.

Combat Chaplain 0 Posted May 6, 2005 Anticipation increases, those Highlanders look especially good!
Jimpy 0 Posted May 7, 2005 Wah-hey! Those highlanders are the 92nd Regiment of Foot Gordon Highlanders. My old regiment! Is there a way you could  make the kilts look a bit better, though? A kilt has an apron at the front - it's an important structural feature of the garment. These guys look like they are wearing some kind of "culottes". Apart from that, these are all very nice looking units. I applaud you for giving this a go.
