john_mcclane 0 Posted October 9, 2003 I still think a Skymaster would be an ideal light aircraft for Flashpoint. We have tons of helicopters and jets, but very few high quality small prop powered aircraft. I love DKM's OV-10 Broncos, but I still think an Oscar Deuce would be a great addition to OFP. Schoeler 0 Posted October 9, 2003 Great aircraft for the Nam pack
MLF 0 Posted October 9, 2003 most deffinatly, id love to guide in CAS from one of them
tankieboy 0 Posted October 9, 2003 The problem I have with CAS is the planes move to fast to see anything of effect? This would be good as I also love Nam missions!
Capitaine Haddock 0 Posted October 9, 2003 Good idea. It'll be great to link it to some artillery or close air support scripting.

bonko the sane 2 Posted October 13, 2003 that would also be cool for the 3rd world african airforces Yup,these planes were used and abused in Angola and Moçambique, either to direct artillery strikes or to guide the Fiat G91R jet fighter on CAS missions

Tannethal 0 Posted October 16, 2003 That O2 could be a valuable addition to OPFP, i agree. About DKMs OV10: i tested it and it's fun to blast away with it. But i find most of the variants overladden with weapons. I'm not sure but i doubt the Brocho packed such a punch as six or more of these rocket pods.
Consigliere 0 Posted October 16, 2003 Until somebody makes an O-2, a good compromise would be to use the US Army textured Cessna (you can find it at OFP.info) as a FAC-A and equip it with smoke rockets (there are smoke rocket scripts at OFPEC.com)...It wouldn't be perfect, but it's still good :-)
NZXSHADOWS 0 Posted October 17, 2003 from the readme of an FS2002 Quote[/b] ]THIS AIRCRAFT IS FREEWARE.DO NOT SELL, CD-BUNDLE OR REDISTRIBUTE THIS FILE SEEKING MONETARY PROFITS. YOU MAY REPAINT OR MODIFY THIS MODEL AND UPLOAD IT TO ANY FREE INTERNET SITE AS LONG AS ARIK HOHMEYER AND FS-DESIGN BERLIN ARE CREDITED FOR THE ORIGINAL AIRCRAFT MODEL. You could do like some people and convert a model from FS2002.And just give the Credits to the makers of the model. It states you can edited or modify the model. But I would still ask Them.i done this with a guy that made a C-130 and we talked,But I havent heard from him in a while so I didnt bother with it. Consigliere 0 Posted October 17, 2003 Don't FS2K2 addons have higher face counts, and general complexity than OFP addons? If so then I don't think it would be a good idea converting one as when you're flying, you want as much fluidity as possible...
NZXSHADOWS 0 Posted October 17, 2003 Well,If you are a lazy Mofo then yeah,But if you want to spend some time in lowering the poly count then it will be ok.
