buggs 0 Posted October 1, 2003 Â A sad day when a great game like OFP finds its way into a bargin bin, but Play.com have it OFP:GOtY edition for Å7.99 including VAT and delivery.http://www.play.com/play247....=126199 Tempted to buy it for my spare computer... Thanks for that, I've just gone and placed an order. I work for a High street retailer and for us to buy would be about 17 to 20 Quid. The cheapest i've seen it recently is at game for 28 pounds, so thanks again. ps. it's no big deal that it's in the bargin bin, Play.com probably didn't have a sale or return deal with their supplier. and wanted to clear out old stock. We were recently selling GTA 3 for 12 quid (retailed for Å39.99), and for no other reason that it was due out on budget at Å19.99 Â

Judge Rabbi 0 Posted October 1, 2003 But whats the point in owning two copies?! I once went mad and brought two copies of Metal Gear Solid. Whats was the point? Although I wish I brought it for that price. I spent Å8 on the original OPF. Then the Å5 on the gold upgrade... Followed by the Å8 for Resistance (the game won't friggin' work on my PC...thank you very much, damn FX 5600 ) Ah well...
Placebo 29 Posted October 1, 2003 I'll be giving them to friends
Judge Rabbi 0 Posted October 1, 2003 Hmm, well you lot can buy a dozen copies, go to peoples houses and hand them the game, hoping to convert them. Tis not a game...but a RELIGION.

Judge Rabbi 0 Posted October 1, 2003 Followth thee OPF commandment. 1) Thou shall hit the dirt under heavy fire. 2) Thou shall press "V" to sight thee enemy. 3) Thou shall download and heal OPF with patches. 4) Thou shall protect thee teammates like a guardian angel. And another six that I can't be bothered with.
ralphwiggum 6 Posted October 1, 2003 OFP has been out for 2 yrs now. in terms of game cycle, that's a full life. there are far more games that came and was gone since OFP came out.
bonko the sane 2 Posted October 1, 2003 Here,a Goty edition costs around 40 euros,i reckon ill get a backup copy as well, and overkill my brother on a Lan game
MrLaggy 0 Posted October 1, 2003 It's not a sad day, I hadn't played OFP for a year or more until I saw that 7.99 deal at Play... now I have both expansions to work my way through .
Scorpio 0 Posted October 1, 2003 Funny how it says,"The chart-topping game is fully loaded with every upgrade, add-on and expansion, including all vehicles, weapons and extra campaigns released to date." There are more mods out there than the official ones. People would of lost interest in this game if it wern't for the expanding community.
EiZei 0 Posted October 1, 2003 Hell, my friend ordered GoTY from UK, about 12 euros including postage while buying one from here would have cost well over 20 euros. And what is so sad about this? I have bought little over one year old games for less than 20e new.
eisa01 0 Posted October 1, 2003 I don't see why this is bad. 3 of my friends just bought it and maybe some other of my friends will buy it too???
