Phleep 0 Posted September 9, 2003 I am one of those pedantic people who like things spelt correctly. Being my most played game bar none, I hope the sequel has this spelling corrected as it is encountered regularly. The mission editor had Win/loose triggers and in MP I was loosing my connection frequently. Also damage instead of dammage but that doesn't really matter since it is probably buried in the code beyond recovery. It would make my day if OFP2 had this corrected. edit - argh poo, I stuffed up the title description.
Jo Man Dragon 0 Posted September 9, 2003 yeah, it's not really top priority but i think it shouldn't be too difficult to correct. I totally understand Phleep's feelings about that....
toadlife 3 Posted September 9, 2003 I think the 'dammage' spelling was fixed in a previous patch. dammage still works though for backward compatibility. Before I realized they meant "lose" I wondered what a 'loose' trigger did. :P

Major Fubar 0 Posted September 10, 2003 While these spelling errors are minor annoyances, you need to remember that to most of the BIS team English is not their primary language. And honestly, I don't think this needs a thread of its own. Closing.
