I know that you guys get allot of lame questions but the few times I have had questions or problems I get the same stuff like this.  I am and admin for one of ladders for OFP so I know how it goes for some really dumb questions but when a questions makes sence and is asked properly I think it deserves an answer.  I know you guys are getting allot of questions about the patch so you know how important it is to the community.  So why not some news on it.  It is like someone telling you that you won money and might receive it at the end of July.  So you would like to know whats going on, right?

I have allot of respect for anyone with the patience and smarts to be an admin here.  But to some things like "it will come when it comes" and "Stop asking about it" is a slap to the face.  Someone could of gave an simple Update and all of this could of been resolved the professional way.  People wonder why OFP has such a small community I hope some didn't have problems or question and got the same response as me, got fustrated and left.  

Not that it probably matters but I have played this game since it hit the stores in the US and haven't switched to another game since.  It is the greatest game to time, please try an answer the small things it might help in a big way.

Sure hope this don't get locked or deleted that would be lame.

Thats my point Scope it all could of been solved with a simple update. Even something like patch 1.92 is still in progress Bis will update us on facts later.

Unfortuantely the moderators are no more privy to BIS developmental info than the rest of us (AFAIK)...I think the point they are trying to make is that Suma, Maruk or one of the other developers will make an anouncement when there is news.

To this end, multiple threads about when/what/where aren't really productive, as they lead to idle speculation as well as frustration if they receive no answer - which they won't until the developers are ready.

I'm sure when the BIS staff have news they won't hesitate to post it.

well i think that since u folks are activly on this forum everyday

except to waste a post on "it will come when it comes"

i would sure appreciate if u can come with a nice response instead of that other thing u just wrote

im not slagging anyone off just a simple kind answer would be more nice then a "slap to the face" answer

I don't really think the developers can give us a 100% prediction. If they could they always would. Codemasters is also responsible for some testing of patches AFAIK, so that could be why the developers can't give exact notifications. And what if some tests fail during that process.

Hmmm, instead of a slap in the face answer, here's the most honest one I could give w/o working for BIS or being a moderator:

No one knows but BIS. And they will let us in on it when they have the things they want fixed, fixed. And begging for a response in multiple threads by multiple people just keeps lowering the chance that someone with the knowledge is going to reply in them.

If you've been around from day one like a lot of us you'll know Bis tend to keep things quiet and then suddenly one day it's out, I expect it will be the same this time, if we had an update we'd give you an update, in the meantime all we can do is try to keep the forum tidy by reducing the amount of threads such as these by closing them (no matter how polite and articulate they are as in the case here)
