r71 0 Posted January 8, 2002 Better gun sounds would be my first pick I know they are still working on bug problems so I wont say any of that. Next would be to Join in on a wait screen so you dont have to use a back door (ip) when you are in gamespy.

Forget what it is call...just a sec...here it is It really rocks COLINMAN
Wgates 0 Posted May 3, 2002 Don't mean to be picky since OFP offers much more attention to detail then it lacks in anything... I wish there were small arms (pistols; if appropriate during 1985 infantry combat) and knives (ala Landwarrior)... found myself sneaking up on snipers & using a LAW to get my jollies!... And you can't kill someone by t-boning them with a 5 ton truck while they're driving one in DF3!! (SCHWEEET, BIS! As mentioned above, shooting from vehicles and 95% of previously mentioned... Major Fubar 0 Posted May 4, 2002 * Multiplayer join in progress * Ability to "follow player" when dead in MP, rather than seagull respawn * Satchels/mines that can be disarmed/destroyed by the enemy when detected * Grenades with timed detonators * Fixed AI glitches (won't get in vehicles etc.) * Hind, Humvee and BRDM armour values made more realistic * Improved physics (bouncing planes, vehicles crawling up hills etc) * More detailed indoors/buildings for house-to-house fighting * Grenade launcher rounds that only take up 1 inventory slot, not 2 * More realistic water (i.e. can swim in it) * More control over parachute descent (Note: OFP is the most kickass game ever, these are just suggestions)
Tex -USMC- 0 Posted May 4, 2002 One thing? I would want to be able to have 60 people in 1 server. Oh, that would be great...
Admiral-1 0 Posted May 4, 2002 If I could pick, I've have them develop a OFP huge persistant online universe for us to play in. Something like the sims Warbirds and Aces High do with theirs. 24 hr. round the clock battles on a huge playing field. 250-300 players in 1 arena. Whole teams being able to gather and play together to take over hosile territory, run recon missions, search and destroy..on and on. This ability of a massive online universe would rock in OFP! Satchel 0 Posted May 4, 2002 - realism - multiplayer - graphics - sound - Character profile/ role playing aspect, i.e. missions completed, awards received, injuries, hit percentage etc. Skill points systems to distribute on character abilities, the longer a unit has been in battle the better and more experienced it gets normally, i.e. if my character is very successfull in sneaking up enemy positions unseen, he should be rewarded with some more advanced stealth abilities. A character pool to choose from, i.e. whom you take on a mission, completed by a weapons and equipment pool, to assign different weapons to units, independant of what a scriptet mission has as default. This way you can create specialists for certain tasks and get more attached to characters. in this order.

RedStorm 0 Posted May 4, 2002 A big dildo to slap people around with, and ofcourse fix the damn clipping system. You just clip right trough the walls of houses.
Killerco 0 Posted May 5, 2002 1) I think a chain of command would be cool. for example 1 Major has 2 Lt. who in turn have 6 Sgt. who each command their own squad of 12 troops. 2) better Air to Air combat like dogfights with Air to Air Missles and flares and chaffs. Grokk 0 Posted May 5, 2002 I wanna have close combat!!! Just imagine how it feels to assault the enemy in close combat with bajonets, blood flowing everywhere, limbs teared off, some resistance guys with axes stolen from an ancient war museum!!! Ok, maybe the teared of limbs is a little too much for the ofp-engine, but it would be delicious!!!
grey 0 Posted May 5, 2002 rofl midair collisions, there ARE midair collisions, as i found out to my dismay when i was rammed by my wingman in mi24s
