Dauragon 0 Posted July 2, 2003 Hi, i need some tips on good music to add to my OFP missions, for a really cool ambience, not those silent musics but musics that would suit to an attack on a city or something, a raid with 50+ more units , some advice would be great thanks D(au)ragon
Crazysheep 1 Posted July 2, 2003 For some reason, I like to play Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes to go along with OFP assaults....but I don't know how to actually import it into the game.
Skul 0 Posted July 2, 2003 How about Carmina Burana? I've used that in one of my missions and it's pretty good once the music really gets going. [Gareth Gates must die]
Tovarish 0 Posted July 2, 2003 "Battery", "One", and "For Whom The Bell Tolls" by Metallica "Come out and Play" by The Offspring "Bad Habit" by the Offspring works well if you're in a tank "Wait and Bleed" by Slipknot "Do the Evolution" by  Pearl Jam "WAR?" by System of a Down "P.L.U.C.K" by System of a Down "War Pigs" by Black Sabbath

Balschoiw 0 Posted July 2, 2003 "Hells bells", ACDC In general tracks from: S.O.D Rage against the machine (used very often and therefore not recommended) Faith no more Soundgarden Linkin Park White Zombie Dub war Clawfinger Dog eat dog P.O.D I edit the music tunes to make them fit the missions. You can easily loop or lengthen certain passages with common sound editing programs like soundforge. EDIT: Shouldn´t this be in the ME section ? There was a thread on free sounds and music scores a while ago. Maybe you want to use search function.

CoolCarlos2002 2 Posted July 2, 2003 Could someone tell me how to import them into the mission editor? Convert the music to .ogg then create a folder in your mission folder called "Music", put the .ogg in there, but then i dont know what to put in the description.ext, because i use a software that generates it for me

Cloney 0 Posted July 2, 2003 I like to use cinematic stuff for helicopter insertions, I particularly like "Operation Reciprocity" by James Horner. It's patriotic but not too overdone. The tune is from "Clear and Present Danger", you can hear it in the part where the Light Infantry guys were being deployed by the blackhawks.

You'd have to be deaf to think their recent stuff compares with what they were 10 years ago. Yeah Lars, keep telling yourself it was Napster that killed your album sales
