The Iraq Thread 2

Recommended Posts

If you GAY Butt Fucker Gamers don't think I'm a marine just look at my picture beach3.gif

I the guy with the FN MAG

Now I am with the 2nd MARINE EXPEDITIONARY UNIT

Well I'm a Marine as well with 1MAW,MAG24 out of Hawaii and even though I don't agree with what is said about Marines here I still protect their rights to free speech.

I'm not doubting the fact that you are a Marine, but I am ashamed at the way you are representing the Marine Corps with the way you are acting. I've been in the Marine Corps since the begining of 1998 and I've heard and read a lot of things, about the Marine Corps and individual Marines, that I disagree with, but when a United States Marine act's in the manner you are acting it just prooves those statements against us. You need to learn some tact and judgment before you act as if you were 12 years old. Remember you are still a US Marine, act like it.

Semper Fi,

Sgt Christopher Micheal Bunnell

HMH-463, MAG 24, 1MAW, MCBH

Sure you are a marine from Hawwii what time did we have this exercise?

And who was your commanding Officer?

year 2000, Vice Adm. Dennis McGinn

Wow ya beat me too it.

Sgt Wulf, if you want to know any more about me check on Marine Online look under the MOS 6113. Look under Sgt's and you will find who I am and where I am stationed is what I just said. If you are a Marine then you know only Marines can sign onto this site.

Any more questions Devil Dog?

EDIT: Sorry posted this just before you did.

Issue resolved. Don't feed 'em, boys.

Since his warning bars jumped, I'm guessing he's PR:ed for a while for the flaming.

Anyway, I feel a need to answer my own question  wink_o.gif

The gas regulator consists of the adjusting screw, the nut for the regulator body, the snap-on spring and the regulator body.

You disassemble it in the order above and if you're not careful, you're going to break the spring.

The answer to the second question is becuase each regulator is adjusted to a specific barrel. They come in pairs. Replace one and you have to replace the other, otherwise you'll get the wrong gas pressure. smile_o.gif

ps. I know the names in Swedish, so my translations might be a bit off.. but if you've disassembled a '58, you'll know what I'm talking about smile_o.gif

Any Questions?

Yes, I have one: Are you a born liar, or did you have to work at it? There is no 2nd MEU, and you are obviously not a Marine, much less a Sergeant. In the Corps, you need about 4 years in service just to make Corporal, meaning that you would have had to join with a parental waiver at age seventeen just to make your lie seem even slightly plausible.

edit: sorry, posted before Hellfish.

That's great, but that wasn't exactly what I was trying to get across. The kind of person who makes sergeant in four years usually isn't the same kind of person who posts profane, poorly spelled, and mostly incoherent messages on an OFP Forum, in addition to claiming to be assigned to a unit that does not exist  smile_o.gif

Honestly I have no info on Iraq, I haven't been over there yet. My Squadron's main mission is within the Korean forum, but you never know the Marine Corps might call on us to go there at any time.

The only hostilities that I've seen have been in the phillipines (which is no better then Iraq right not, just not as well known as Iraq)

Heh, interesting...wonder why the South Korean police would feel the need for a chopper with an ASW radome:

as opposed to the civilian version:

Do they have a problem with speeding North Korean subs perhaps?  smile_o.gif

Tell ya the truth I have no clue bro...lol...might be part of their harbor patrol....South Korean military and police are kinda wierd compared to the US or Europe countries.

EDIT: Actually I do know....I just got off the phone with one of my Staff Sergeants I work with. He said that helicopter is for searching for North Korean subs on the eastern sea board of South Korea and it is Police like I thought. I called him to make sure I wasn't passing the wrong info.

Nice pictures you have there indeed. But you might want to check this thread here and continue there..  smile_o.gif

keep em pics coming!

EDIT: back on topic

Quote[/b] ]HAWIJA, Iraq (Reuters) - Up to 1,000 U.S. troops swept into an Iraqi town on Tuesday to hunt for masterminds of a relentless guerrilla war and caught 27 suspects, but said their most wanted man after Saddam Hussein was not one of them.

Now this is the biggest operation since the war "ended" is it?

Surely you've hear the phrase "Conflict spread like wildfire". With all the wind the liberals have been throwing towards the war, it has plenty to cause it to spread. biggrin_o.gif

That's crazy... Police ASW patrol. Guess it is suiting though.. not as if there has never been a sub from up North found down South where it needn't be. Guess that way rather than sink it and risk sparks igniting into more, they can just issue a ticket, or arrest them on civillian charges. Wonder what the fine is for operating a military submarine without proper liscensing, let alone in a restricted area?

"SORRY THIS IS THE LAST TIME I POST OFF TOPIC"

Don't be to hasty to think that Baron. While I was in Japan on deployment two North Korean Subs did go below the DMZ line into South Korean waters. My squadron and 3rd Marines were put on call and were getting ready to go to Korea before they turned around. It was at the height of the whole nuck scare the North Koreans were putting off. They were testing the waters to see how far they could get, when the South Korean police helicopters spotted them and then called in South Korean gun boats and US Naval ships.

North Korea is a very big threat whether the world believes it or not. They are a starving, cold, and poor country. It's like finding a dieing dog in a back alley with just enough strength left for one last kill and he's storing it up. North Korea will cross the DMZ. The scarey thing is when will they do it. They are more of a threat then the old soviet union, because they aren't scared to use nukes to get what they want. If the Unites States hadn't given in and given them money and help they would have used them.
