Maybe a little off-topic, but i have just read article about M249 and found info that version for SEALs has quick attachable silencer. Can anybody confirm it?

BTW - would be nice to have it scripted if it is truth smile_o.gif

they make silencers for any type of weapon out there...I saw one for a C-6/M240/FN MAG 58/GPMG

I like using ONS's C9/FN MINNIMI/M249 couse I'm canadian and we dont put all that usless crap on our mgs that make it a bitch to change barrels....and it comes with a C79 elcan optical sight which I have seen the 101st start using on theres

H&K never made a MG46; like Crunchy say, only H&KMG43 downwards.

Quote[/b] ]The MG-43 was developed during late 1990s and first appeared circa 2001. It is still in test phase, but, according do HKPro website, it already had been type-classified by the Bundeswehr (German Army) in 2003 as the MG-4. Most probably, it will enter service with Bundeswehr in the SAW role,

If you making your own weapons, are they going to be JAM compatible?

That's stupid.  JAM has a number of good uses.  All you have to do is add a few lines to the weapon config, to allow JAM mags, and you're compatible.  Then you can go and make whatever mags you want after that, and make those the normal mags issues to your soldiers.

Then at least editors have the chance to use JAM if they want to..  just keep the options open, it's so easy to do. It's not a forced standard, it's an option for compatibility sad_o.gif

If you really hate JAM so much, you could do the opposite, where if somebody puts a JAM mag into your gun, they explode and then their computer crashes.

screw jam.

Wow, that´s real constructive, not to mention insulting to the makers. rock.gif I agree with Earl. smile_o.gif

Problem with the M249 and OFP is it's high ROF, 800-900 RPM if I am not mistaken. The sounds you apply for a high rate of fire work great when you test them on desert island, as soon as you start using them in MP, or in a situation where the FPS drops below 40, the audio begins 'clipping', and the game engine slows down the ROF to try and compensate for it.

YOu could use 'SondContinuous' true, but then you lose the 'reverberation' effect after firing bursts, and it sounds very crappy...
