BW-Mod does a great Job, and if you just dont like their Addons cause Missions are in German language...you shall not DL them. I don´t think they got any personel problems with english language or english speaking people either. By keeping them in german you are excluding a far larger part of the community then you are including by having them in german. How much work would it be to have a english and a german version? or is that unrealistic? Just curious I am dutch and my german is ok but somethings i dont understand either. mr burns 132 Posted March 31, 2003 ok...you´re both right..I must change my mind a bit. I also think they won´t exclude the larger part of the community from playing their Mod. But you shouldn´t forget that up to date releases from BW-Mod are Demos. Maybe the´ll release a multilingual Version when it´s Final. But i´m not involved with the Mod, so i cannot say for sure. pzvg 0 Posted March 31, 2003 Actually having been born in Germany and brought up in a bilingual household, It's not myself I'm speaking for. Oh and FYI, maybe it's changed in the last few years, but the last time I was in Germany, the only people there who didn't speak English were over 80 or could speak it but disliked americans so much they refused to admit it. P.S. The missions in German can be ignored <you can always make your own> but when you use a self installer and run that in German, well, that's asking a little much of the world. waffendennis 0 Posted March 31, 2003 Well if i am not wrong there are some new Vehicals in it ( atleast the verison i have from the begining ) there is a SAr Heuy and two new tanks one with the raum schield or something but yea... and i am happy that i live in the Netherlands and have German on school so i can read and speak it but this is not old news this is a Fixed 1.3 so some bugs from the early one are gone and they now have send it to news sites because the first time there where problems with it. mr burns 132 Posted March 31, 2003 there´s nothing written about Version requirements in the readme..but i think it should be 1.75+. The demo includes 1 Tank with a moveable shovel on it´s front...i´m almost sure that those moving parts on cars or planes were possible with 1.75 the 1. time... Second thing... still nothing for the jugoslavians Third... damn exe... and moreover... damn exe does not allow to unpack where you want, it forces you to unpack EXACTLY where you want.
