It seems most people who can make vehicles don't bother making the addons that would really stand out, for example technicals, and the mentioned uaz/mg. Instead, they make a "Fictional Chinese Flame Tank with 2000000 watt laser cannons" or "Super Alien Tank 2309", that no one will ever use. Not that anyone has to make anything, but if they can, you might as well put some effort into it and surprise people with a cool addon. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

chaztheducky 0 Posted March 14, 2003 that pic of kegs uaz he said it sucked so he never released it. also the pics from behind enemy lines (very cool movie btw) arent exactly russian. the amercian made 50 cal bmg isint in use with the russian military. anyhoo ill be waiting for a good uaz with either a pk or a kord or the 50 cal gun that russia uses like the one in the nam pack 2. sory...im not wrighting english very good today. im being lazy. sad thing is im from texas...i know.....yee haw Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
theavonlady 2 Posted March 14, 2003 On the MOM section at The FAQ, there's a recently reviewed mission, Platoon Commander, that uses a script, "mgcarry", to mount manned working MGs on BRDMs. It's not a customized addon by the effect in the mission worked! Shashman 0 Posted March 14, 2003 Shame bout that MG UAZ Kegetys made Looks fine to me.I mean even if he's not entirely satisfied with it why doesn't he just reease it anyway? OxPecker 0 Posted March 19, 2003 OK, so someone is working on the armed UAZ. Now, how about an armed BRDM? I seem to remember within the last 6 or so months at least 3 different addon teams working on these. I don't mean to sound whiny, but as great as a lot of the vehicle addons are that have come out recently, wouldn't it be better in many ways to concentrate on more common vehicles for both sides than exotic, rare ones or vehicles that only exist as concepts so far?
