Scorpio 0 Posted February 20, 2003 I liked this one. Only thing missing is a DVD player and cruise control.
cam0flage 0 Posted February 20, 2003 They look great, but how often these guns are actually issued for troops? Just thinking. Anyway, good job! Edit: a word was missing
shadow 6 Posted February 20, 2003 A little nit-picking: When the barrel of a Socom is black, then so is the chamber-part of it too In the BAS-Socom the back-end of the barrel is grey/stainless but the barrel is black. But as I said, I'm only picky I noticed that one easily as I'm waiting for my Mk23 and have been doing quite alot of research on it. FYI: the best Mk23-resource site: www.mark23.com All in all: you're model looks nice

peanuckle_00 0 Posted February 20, 2003 I believe the butt of the Famas has a cleaning kit inside. That's why its heavier than the M16.
Schoeler 0 Posted February 20, 2003 The Israelis added a bottle opener to their Galils back in the late 70's because the soldiers were using the ejector port to pop the tops off of bottle and were bending the metal components. To stop this, they added a true bottle opener to the weapon, or so I've heard.
Wick_105 0 Posted February 20, 2003 first off to shadow yes the barel is black but the chamber area of most auto's loose the blueing from constant friction while firing eg: my 1911 had a blued barel when I first got it 3 years ago now it has a silver one the m 16 does have a cleaning kit compartment in the butt of the weapon and a cleaning kit weaghs next to nothing and another thing...it is a verry nice model of the m4...but it looks to much like plastic. I mean the reciever, is there some way of making it look worn out? just a suggestion but as always verry nice work
