blackdog~ 0 Posted January 20, 2003 Yet another batch of pictures from Martin. From the tests I have done so far on this beta, it seems not too far from release. Maybe a week. It still has a few small bugs but they can be fixed... here are some teasers: Edit: If you see anything that is unusual or you can provide evidence to being different, go ahead and post your suggestions/constructive critiscm. pzvg 0 Posted January 20, 2003 Nice detail, love the swashplate detail, everytime I look at it, in the back of my mind I'm going "hmm where's that 9/16ths?"
blackdog~ 0 Posted January 20, 2003 I'm guessing they secured the stretcher here. Just a guess though, not sure.
Guest BratZ Posted January 20, 2003 Wowzers, that is really nice!!! The advantage of these choppers were the load carrying capacity(oversized engine) and able to withstand higher winds that most choppers couldn't.Useful for rescue and mountain operations. That model is really sweeeet!!
pzvg 0 Posted January 20, 2003 Yep secured to the saddle tubes of the skids, if you look at the 1st photo you posted <which looks to be Korea> you'll see a plexiglass canopy on the ground in front of the bird's nose, this was fitted over the stretcher to cover the head and upper body to protect from rotorwash.
