America could be considered predominantly a Christian Nation.  Yes Christianity is a major religion.  But there is seperation between church and state. When the people say things like "My God be with you" or "May God be with us", in the current day and age in America, it doesn't have much to do with God at all.  Depending on how it's used in context shows it's meaning.  I can't think of a direct translation of what I mean but I'll try. And personally, I don't belive in conventional gods.  I'm not atheist.  I know that everything had to have gotten here somehow, but I don't know how.  So I like to leave my mind open  <!--emo& P.S. If you really believe that God is a living being, you must leave room for error. EDIT: Alright, too off-topic, no proof for any side can be given. Discussion branch must stop, according to me. Maybe you can find some common genetic parts among the german but it's not differing much compared to for an example a dutch. But not that much that you can call it a different race.
