You're doing so much research, while it's not really necessary. You cannot simulate modern aircraft in OFP. What exactly are you looking for? Weapon loadouts???

Just asking... xmas.gif

I can lend a hand. I have a Janes book and have done a lot of research on the MiG-29 over the years, one of my favourite planes. I'll add you on ICQ when I get home tonight, don't have the UIN off the top of my head

this is what i need,

i need it to fly as close to the mig as possible, like turning radius..corner speed, - min take off distance..i want it to be realistic in OFP..not some super manuevrablity. like the tornado, i loved the previous version because this one, u basicly can do a loop around a penny. unless it was fitted with thrust vectors then its ok.

thats what i aim...im just trying to biring more realisim into OFP.

cheers

More power to you. Do your thing. But if you can't do it how you want just remember three things. As long as this mig sounds, looks, and flies good, it will be the only mig 29 that I have been able to fly for this game. Lol. The last one....I couldn't even get in the cockpit. Remember this thing is for air to air only according to the website i gave you.

Hey there,

Hope this might come in handy:

http://www.geocities.com/commandervarun/iaf/mig29.html

http://www.sci.fi/~fta/MiG-29-4.htm

http://www.aeronautics.ru/mig29site.htm

Sift thru them and you'll find speeds, weights, turnrates, radius, etc. etc.

BTW, I am probably not the only 1 here but i have enjoyed a pilots training (commercial). So if you really need to get into aerodynamics and stuff...I'll be glad to help.

Hope that you can deliver the same quality as your Strike Eagle....

L8R,

And put sound in the cockpit for this one, I hate flying the F-15 cause I think the engines died. No, I don't use third person view. I don't care how loud it is, 2 versions if you absolutely have to please.

You can flip around a penny with the mig29... tounge.gif

Exept the electronics this is one of the best planes at its era..! Much faster than most of the USA comparisons and it has a really good maneuveribility.

It can carry most of the standard Russian dumb bombs (100kg, 250kg, 500kg), as well as unguided rockets (largest caliber 20 X 80mm), and bomblet dispenser weapons. There's even a 30 kt RN-40 atomic bomb in it's arsenal.

We should give you a prize for being the master of the obvious. There is a 2 seater too. And i might make it after i release the single seat.

Attacking my character? Don't let your ego fool you into an we vs. you hate match. No wonder you need an expert to support information that means nothing.
