major-stiffy 279 Posted December 11, 2017 252 megs inside this folder I assume for Tacops DLC I don't own and another 1.4GB in a folder called Orange I don't own. And then there's Kart, Jets, heli, etc. that I don't want or own all taking up huge space on my SSD. Can these folders be safely deleted?
lex__1 422 Posted December 11, 2017 You will have problems in the network game, in conjunction with players who have DLS. You will experience problems with playing missions that use components from DLS.

lexx 1363 Posted December 12, 2017 And Steam probably redownloads the files anyway.
beno_83au 1369 Posted December 13, 2017 (edited) Not to mention, that by having the DLCs with your game it allows you to play on missions and servers that use those DLCs, rather than alienating/segregating sections of the community. Edit: That was actually how i played Arma 2 for a long time before buying the DLCs. Edited December 13, 2017 by beno_83au
major-stiffy 279 Posted December 13, 2017 FWIW, I don't play on public or private servers and never have. I only play with friends and I host. None of my friends have those mods either. We typically play Pilgrimage which requires only Apex probably.
dave_beastttt 135 Posted December 13, 2017 You would break the game if you deleted those files
Bravo 6-6 1 Posted November 23, 2022 Go to Steam, right click on the game, say "Properties", go to DLCs, and undone the DLC you want.
