Horrible performance with AMD CPU

hello, i've noticed i've been getting horrible fps whenever i play online, frame rates go as low as 10fps and never higher than 25, only near debug considering i'm playing chernarus.

 

My specs:
 

AMD FX6300 

Asrock 970 extreme3 r2.0

16gb of ddr3 ram at 1600ish mHz

MSI gtx 960 2GB

 

I've been also noticing AMD cpus work terribly with this game, how come AMD cpus bottleneck with arma 3 though, is it because of the lack of cache or absence of hyperthreading ? is Bohemia ever gonna address this issue ?

Here's the science part; AMD CPUs in general, in especially, 4-year-old ones like yours don't make a nice experience in Arma 3.

 

You can fix it by judicious application of a credit card. :)

i don't think OCing it would be recommended since i don't have a good heatsink, mine is hyper212 evo

Tried tons of tweaks / overclocking for my AMD CPU. The only thing that helped was buying an i5. Do yourself a favour and take an i7 if you intent to invest...

don't have the finances to buy an i7 plus idk which one is better for ddr3

also, will the performance build help? I don't know if it'll affect multiplayer

Buy a FX 8xxx series cpu like warlord554 said. Can probably get a 4.0 ghz one for about $100, then u don't need new mb or ram.

Last year I upgraded from a near unplayable in mp fx4100 to a i7 6700K. It was absolutely worth it ;)
