Forewarned is forearmed - spend a few minutes learning how you've been killed and cheated by the glitchers and hackers of ARMA 3 - prior knowledge of possible dangers or problems gives one a tactical advantage...

One of my favorite missions in the original, the mission clan members were tested on and something I had to recreate with the Malden DLC.

What the professor said.

Also, if you eliminate luck out of the equation that was actually pretty stupid.

Firing in a situation where:

  1. The target most likely doesn't know you're there and aware of him
  2. The target is about to disappear behind hard cover
  3. The target has plenty of hard cover around him to disengage
  4. The target has plenty of hard cover around him to engage you without too much risk
  5. The target is better equipped, in this case a scoped rifle

Cheers

Agreed.

I'm gonna go ahead and add that the player/guy laughing and repeatedly using the same exclamation, "F-ing Hell," was highly annoying. It was a cool shot, but as Grumpy pointed out it was not a tactically wise engagement.
