In two words

- 1 gun with 6000 rounds (3000 AP, 3000HE), hight rate of fire

- 48 places for mens + 3 crews

- weapon on Zubr

Nice! It's a good thing that east gets something like LSD. Will you make a moving version and a static object? It looks pretty massive when compared to the boat next to it smile.gif

That LCAC picture is very nice looking.

The Finnish Defence Forces received recently their first hovercraft which is inteded for combat use. It is not yet fielded operationally, but it will be used in several ways: It can lay mines, or launch anti-ship missiles. It will also have AA missiles, probably the french-made Mistral. According to mil.fi its the first hovercraft ever meant solely for combat, so it has no real transportational ability.

I think this would make a great addon smile.gif If someone is interested and doesn't speak finnish, I can dig up pictures and information from mil.fi

I have any littles problems and than I release a Beta Version.

My problem : When I fire on my Zubr, projectils (Grenade, Missile, ...) geht throught my add-on.... they are not stopped by this...

Hey cam0flage maybe you should ask Blake or Mikko to do it for their Finnish pack?

I am wondering how you configured the config.cpp for this...

Did you make it's class as a boat, whereas it just floats on water and can't go on land... or did you set it as armored with canfloat=1 enabled. If you didn't do the armored part, I reccomend you try it smile.gif

This hoovercraft will sure make some currently "missing" mission opertunitys become possible. smile.gif

coding a hovercraft as a tank is really not a good idea, to get it to go the correct speed in the water as soon as it touched dry land it would be catapulted at a huge speed as soon as the imaginary wheels touched the ground, as there is no hovercraft class your best chance is by using it as a boat and only for beach landings(which is most likely what the real thing is for) with a high speed on the boat class you can manouver, just like the boat in ofp, youll still be able to get 50 or so metres up the beach if youre going fast enough which should be all you need

I have try to code my hovercraft as a BMP... but... no, it's no very good...

but I have a problem with height speed... under 70km/s it's ok, but over 70km/h the nose get up and it is possible to see below the ship sad.gif not realistic for an hovercraft...

An solution ?
