Measurements in o2?

Recommended Posts

When importing the model into O2 it will probably need some scaling. Is there any reference to OFP measurements in O2? How will we know how big a meter is?

Cheers

Marek said they're gonna hook us up with some samples. So, i guess we will be able to view thos and get the jist of all the measurements in the game. You want pain, try designing machines for metric products using inches so the guys in the tool room can build them.

These guys grew up on feet and inches and a little weed I'm sure. biggrin.gif

I do alot of 3d design in solidworks, but I'm a newbie to this type of modeling.

I'm really looking forward to learing this stuff. I hope I'll get an understanding ear (or eyes) for all the stupid questions I know I'll ask.

Hi Guys

Just a thought on the decimal conversion thing. I've created a little proggie that does it quite simply. It was made for my other passion, creating 3D models for Trainz, but it will work with any other model. get it from here :DC-3D Computer Game Modelling Zone.

I use it when converting feet and inches to metrics.

Its free, so enjoy.

Cheers smile.gif  (no cool smiley??)

BTW, let me know what you think of it, or if it needs any other conversion functions.
