Are you using the 3D Eden Editor or are you still using the 2D editor (which is going away in 5 days, mostly)?

That's if they don't delay it again ;)

It may take time, But try make one yourself. It will look better as you can customize it the way you like it.

Afaik it will never go away. It will just be hidden. If i remember correct then u can unhide it with ctrl-d in ed8tor menu.

It's already removed (hidden) in Apex.

It's Ctrl-O for Old from the Eden map select dialog.

Seriosly, what are you expecting. The editor offers you a powerful tool for single-object placement, and instantly place predefined groups.

A wall placement tool like in "sims" would be quite stuped, since it would look artificial imho.

Use CTRL+C, CTRL+V for your first wall place, select both and repeat. You will get fast exponentially.

Since 1 wall leads to 2, these to 4 and those to 2^(n-1) if n is your step counter. So after 10 steps of copy and pasting you're already at 512 wall pieces.

If these aren't enough, you Sir, got a badass big compound.

Also use the rotation and translation grid widget, makes it very easy to place walls.

Its not easy and very time consuming. Bohemia needs to implement what Macca did with the M3editor with the REPEAT button. It made things much easier but now in 3d Eden it crashes or with Windows 10...I find something useful and boom it crashes all the fricking time. Get with the ball Bohemia...

Do you really need 100 wall pieces around your base?  There are prebuilt military installations across every Arma map, are all of them unsuitable?  Can you get more creative and use different structures/vehicles/objects instead of endless walls?  What exactly does an enclosed box add to the mission that would be missed if it weren't there?

This should be scriptable.  My JBOY Stack Objects script could be tweaked to place N objects horizontally (with offsets based on object length), rather than vertically as it currently does.  Feel free to tweak that script if you like.
