operative spaz 10 Posted May 22, 2016 Out of no where I've started seeing ragdolls like this: http://prnt.sc/b6ygjp and this http://prnt.sc/b6xqts and this http://prnt.sc/b6ygsk Anybody else experiencing this? I've disabled ace and ended up with the same results, tried Improved Ragdoll Physics and it didn't do much either.

Ben Kerry 0 Posted May 22, 2016 Hello ! I think this is a common problem from ArmA 3. The physics engine is creating the ragdolls randomly. So if you kill somone he is falling to ground and the body parts can go everywhere. I am not sure but I think BI added this feature with one of the last updates. And because this is a new feature it's a little bit laggy. Sometimes I have this problem too but usual it's fine. Well, I am not exactly sure but this is my theory. Have a great day (night) ! :pet11:
pierremgi 4853 Posted May 22, 2016 Sure, this occurs even in Vanilla. Something all players use to see without mentioning. But you're right. It's not very immersive.
operative spaz 10 Posted May 23, 2016 It's so goofy haha. I don't ever remember the ragdolls being like that until recently. I watched a video of the Improved Ragdoll Physics, and it looks pretty good. When I tried it, it changed nothing, still broken ragdolls. Well at least I'm not alone. Thanks guys! dmarkwick 261 Posted May 23, 2016 Yep I'm seeing a lot of legs-bending-the-wrong way nonsense :) maybe some joint limit is borked.
Jackal326 1181 Posted May 23, 2016 As a side note, I can only assume ACE does something (either deliberately or inadvertently) to counter this as the vast majority of the rag-dolls I see whilst using ACE appear "normal". There is the occasional "leg on backwards" scenario, but that is usually accompanied by a valid reason such as a failed HALO jump or getting run over by a tank. I've actually tried with and without ACE and still had the exact same problem. I even took out the ace_hitreactions.pbo and tried that, still nothing. zooloo75 834 Posted June 6, 2016 Can confirm that this is still happening. IIRC the ragdolls didn't do this before.
