Here we go again..in my opinion it really isn't "your code"..its BI's code..we/you just arrange it so it works for us. Far as I know there isn't a big list of "code stealers" anywhere..why not contact the person and ask thm to either remove it or at the very least give you some credit for it.

so every piece of code written in Java belongs to Oracle, everything written in Swift belongs to Apple and so forth? lool, what a fucking retarded way of seeing things...

@OP: send a mail to infringements at bistudio dot com (ONLY if they are monetizing the code you made) and also send a DMCA/cease and desist to the server/website provider of the infringing party

Thanks.

It really isn't 'his' code. It's a lightly reworked Epoch mission.

i kinda feel like an idiot.

Well then ... you feel right, because "stealing" code is not a crime, BI does not care, because it was not your code, it was the code from the gamemode maker you took and modified a bit.

No one will do anything, but have a smile when reading that ...

Welcome to arma, everybody takes everything from anybody. If you are not ok with that, you shoulnd be hosting a server

I guess they fought the law...and the law lost.

Or did they shoot the sheriff, but they did not shoot the deputy....

Low-information poster detected :)

You create a SQF file and write a script in SQF, you have copyright on it.

This eastern european "you didnt write that, its all just lego blocks, that script you wrote is ours too" marxist view of modding, seems quite prevalent in the A3 community.

All them pretty guns and vehicles over on armaholic, must belong to BI as well right?

I'd love to be proved wrong but...

I suspect the OP's code, regardless of it's true provenance was earning him cash and he is feeling that someone else is using it to make *them* cash.

LOLOL, here we go to assuming. no, i do not host a Epoch server. So having a account on a website means i host a server for it. 10/10.. xD my last post on Epoch forums was in MID 2015. Also, "lightly modified" another assumption. also, i'm posting in the arma 3 section not arma 2..

So why the lack of disclosure about what has been 'stolen'?
