Overweight & Obesity (Washington Post) Here’s one metric where the U.S. – thankfully -- is not number one. The chart below, made by Ramon Martinez, a technical specialist in health metrics for the World Health Organization, shows 188 countries ranked in descending order by the percentage of their population that is overweight or obese, which is defined as having a body mass index of over 25. Yeah mass index 25 as an overweight is just pure bullshit. I'm just balancing on both sides of that and I feel it's the perfect point to be. Get some muscles and you're suddenly overweight... Get some muscles and you're suddenly overweight... The mass index is just a statistic indicator.
