maquez 141 Posted June 9, 2015 development branch 1.47.131133 has same problem as stable, certain cargo types stopped to work with slingload.
Greenfist 1863 Posted June 9, 2015 I can't see any problems with the sling load module, but the objects have changed. In your test mission the metal case and the bigger 20' container doesn't work in 1.44 either. Don't know if some of the changes are intentional, but at least the name "cargo net" suggests that the object should be sling-loadable.
maquez 141 Posted June 9, 2015 did you read my post? did you use test mission? all containers placed HAVE the slingload icon "DLC Helicopters", so they should all work and did work previous update 1.46.
Greenfist 1863 Posted June 9, 2015 Yes, I tried you mission. The icon means that they're part of the Helicopters DLC, not that they can be slingloaded. For example, the office chair has the icon, but you can't sling load it. I just tried this in 1.44, and the bigger container and the steel case did not work there. maquez 141 Posted June 9, 2015 (edited) there is a bug, have a mission under development using from editor class ammo the cargo net. until update of yesterday I could slingload it every time played mission I can even post you a screenshot of action. http://steamcommunity.com/id/maquez_qnet/screenshot/28492701742505983 now since update of yesterday I'm not able any more ... so how you explain that? Greenfist 1863 Posted June 9, 2015 I wasn't saying you're wrong, I confirmed that you're right. But the problem isn't the sling load module, it's that the objects are "broken". Like the cargo net for example.
Rich_R 1087 Posted June 10, 2015 I hope they're going to fix this, using those cargo nets for resupply are pretty important for our group :)
maquez 141 Posted June 10, 2015 did hotfix from today fix the slingload problem? can not test myself switched back to Legacy Build 1.44 and I won't switch back to 1.46 at least for now.
R3vo 2654 Posted June 13, 2015 Small objects really don't work. Shouldn't they be liftable even without the sling load module? (What does it do anyway?) Going to upvote your ticket.
Greenfist 1863 Posted June 13, 2015 (edited) Small objects really don't work. Shouldn't they be liftable even without the sling load module? (What does it do anyway?) Going to upvote your ticket. As far as I know, the module is only used for attaching a load immediately without picking it up. For example, you can start a mission with a sling load. The module is basically just a script command heli setslingload cargo There is something wrong with certain items, like the cargo net; it still has the sling load memory points defined in the config but you can't pick it up. fn_Quiksilver 1636 Posted June 14, 2015 Indeed appears to be broken in 1.46 stable B_CargoNet_01_ammo_F O_CargoNet_01_ammo_F I_CargoNet_01_ammo_F are no longer slingable. Seems like a bug/mistake to me.
Greenfist 1863 Posted June 15, 2015 The cargo nets and some other objects are sling loadable again in today's dev branch.
