Ha, Jack Daniels is a sodding bourbon. If you want a real Whiskey, try a Scottish single malt. Pure, unmixed goodness....<span id='postcolor'>

Damn right mate!!!

like it should be and as it is in aus. You can do everything (or anything worth doing) when your 18.

.....18, ..... when you legally become a adult!

But we can't trust them with alcohol.......

......can you hold my shotgun for a sec?

(One of the reasons I'm glad I'm a Brit! The buggers will let you in the pub from 15+! Those were the days......)

I prefer a Moosehead myself, goes down smooth and I can drink alot of them before getting sick.<span id='postcolor'>

I switch brands a lot, like trying different things, but I'd have to say Molson Canadian and Heinekken. Moosehead is good, but I like a stronger taste in beer.

Vodka -Smirnoff (not the shite Smirnoff Ice my roomate likes for some reason, and Absolut)

Rum - Havana Club

Heh. I know Cuba is an opressive dictatorship and all, but part of the bright side is that your parents decide the legal drinking age smile.gif. I had my first hangover during a fishing trip with my dad when I was 7 biggrin.gif

P.S.

Stay away from mass produced American Beer, it tastes like shite.

<span id='postcolor'>

Some of that American beer tastes pretty good, like old milwakee *spelling or Busch. Me and my friends somtimes stand at the side of the road and drink busch beer, its a good way to kill a few hours.

And the American beer sold here in Canada is "Canadianized" and the alcohol content is boosted to 5% or more, not the wussy 3% or what ever the americans have down there.

Is it even possible to get drunk off of true american beer? I think you would be pissing it out before it could take any effect on you.

Reminds me of a great joke:

How is American Beer like making love in a canoe?

Apparently, Johnny Walker Black Label is meant to be good, but I cant seem to find it anywhere sad.gif

Do you know of any other good whiskeys, 8 years or older?<span id='postcolor'>

Jack Daniels is just terrible. The best whiskey I've tried is Johnnie Walker Blue Label (price about 200$ per bottle sad.gif) and I must say it was unbelievably good. The taste was really smooth and it was nothing like Jack Daniels (Jack Daniels=alcohol with yellow coloring and a squirt of cat piss; I can't believe some people like that crap).

Jameson is quite cheap but good Irish whiskey. I recommend trying it out.
