bhyatt 10 Posted February 23, 2015 For the past few days when I play Arma 3 for more than 2 hours, my game begins to have extremely low fps then crash to desktop with this message: http://gyazo.com/0115fb4f64ef83af39345cdf14edf2d4 I'm not sure what is causing this because I have 16 gb of RAM and when I am playing my RAM usage never gets over 7 gb, so it is no where near out of memory. Any tips on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
warlord554 2065 Posted February 23, 2015 Wouldnt hurt to run a memtest, could have a bad stick. Also try -maxMem= (amount of ram you want to dedicate to a3) launch command
Brisse 78 Posted February 23, 2015 Running a lot of mods? Having 16gb of memory does not help when you are running a 32bit application like Arma. It cannot access all that memory anyway. This is why Euro Truck Simulator 2 just released a new 64bit version, and why DCS has been exclusively 64bit for a long time.
St. Jimmy 272 Posted February 24, 2015 If you don't have paging file or it's very low that can happen even if you've that amount of RAM.
petek 62 Posted February 24, 2015 Hi I used to get similar message on old laptop - try changing Windows setting to "adjust for best performance" under system properties - advanced - while you're gaming Good luck

kklownboy 43 Posted February 25, 2015 turn on your Page. The OS knows better than you/us what it wants to do with RAM usage. Not a issue.
