Purchasing scripts/mods for items

Hello,

As a new member to this community im finding it rather helpful, me and a few friends are going to be starting a server, now on the original Arma RPG webpage there was a link to a page that you could buy scripts/mods and use in your servers, we found this amazinggggggggg prison that had been designed. Problem.. i cant find this website again, it had stuff like prisons and houses to silly things like skins and electric chairs, any help would be appreciated if there is still anywhere like this, or if anyone knows any nice prisons i can use in server :)

You cant sell/buy arma mods and scripts, its against the rules. If you are looking for mod try Armaholic where all mods are free.

If anyone tryes to sell you a script or a mod for any arma game, report him!

No one can stop you from Selling / Buying Sqf/Sqs scripts since you do not use any of Bis tools to create them with.

Mods/Addons on the other hand is another story.

so regarding scripts. as long as you wote it your self. you can do whatever you want with them.

sell them . throw them in trash bin, whatever. it all up to you

That doesnt matter unless you ripped out the Bis functions and included them in you script(s).

If youre using some Bis functions in your script youre basically just calling a library, not including the library itself.

Would have to be one hell of a super-fantastic script for anyone to consider paying for it though, unless people are lazy and/or have more money than they do sense (in this community I'm hard-pressed to decide which is more accurate of a summary).

This prison was beautiful! like and i cant fins it anywhere now ;( was originally seen on ArmaRPG forums :( cant find it no more! was being sold for 200$ hehe

While some tend to think, 1000 work hours project was made in a weekend, I guess, one my find not so few willing to pay for some trivial few lines of sqf for very same reason - lack of knowledge in the topic makes impossible to evaluate such work properly. Also what's trivial for specialist, or trivial to learn for some, is plainly impossible/very hard for the most of the others, what applies to the all kind of work.

Im a dumbass, hence the post :) amazing how long it takes to go threw 7 months of internet history! must find prison worthy of my island!
