Idomass 11 Posted January 6, 2015 (edited) how should i make roadway lod? like geometry? and how should i create stairs? Edited January 6, 2015 by eldar
m1lkm8n 411 Posted January 6, 2015 Create a roadway and add a plane where the stair are. ---------- Post added at 17:25 ---------- Previous post was at 17:22 ---------- You should look at http://ofp.gamepark.cz/_hosted/brsseb/tutorials.htm for at least some starting info and look at the biwiki as well https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Main_Page
giallustio 770 Posted January 6, 2015 Generally you could use the same LOD of the 1.000 and lift it a bit. Probably it shouldn't have too much polys
m1lkm8n 411 Posted January 6, 2015 Yea that totally depends on the amount of polys. For instance the mil_house I'm working on. The damaged lod 1 has 11 thousand polys. That wouldn't be good.
Idomass 11 Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) i should create the plane in o2 or in blender? and how should i make the plane invisible? EDIT: i manage to make stairs but im still doesn't know how to make invisible plane can someone help me? Edited January 7, 2015 by eldar
m1lkm8n 411 Posted January 7, 2015 If placed in the correct Lod, the roadway lod, it will be invisible. The only lods that are displayed visually are the resolution lods. I really suggest that you read and run through some of the tutorials available. It's already complicated enough, why complicate matters even more
