Extract DLC high definition textures

Is it possible to extract high quality textures from one of the DLC pbos?

I own the BAF DLC but cannot open any of the PBOs with ExtractPBO, am i doing something wrong or are they somehow blocked (as i imagine they would be since it's payable content)?

I just keep getting the error "DePBO unknown header type".

Are you sure that you are allowed to even ask that question?

BAF DLC is BIS´s intelectual property and you shouldnt even try to brake it open i gues?

BAF content DLC is locked for a reason, as its a paid DLC.

BAF is a paid DLC, but A2 and OA are paid products as well, and many of those assets have been made available to us. People are modding A2 assets and distributing to players who do not already own that game. In the end I don't see the difference.

I'm not arguing the point, but if we're having this conversation, I was sincerely hoping someone could explain the difference to me.

I don't know how extractable they are, or what kind of usage licenses apply.

Would that still apply if i was to use said content in arma 3?

There are no textures in those as far as i know.
