If you want to get general and really loose with the definition of "addon/mod content created by others" then you could include items from another IP but that's not specifically what it is referring to or referencing. Either way, we all -know- that if the OP had come in here with a workable map that included links to download from it would be insta-ban. He came in asking if it was legal to share. We all said it's not legal to publicly share it, which is true, but there's also nothing to stop him from using it on his own. To each his own, he'll do what he wants to do. If editing someone elses mod for personal use was such a horrid thing and tracked as closely as you all have made it sound thing then I'd be willing to bet that half of the users of this forum with knowledge on the "how to" behind editing configs or other, more in-depth processes, would be long gone. Probably shouldn't have asked if it was legal and just posted it. Then moved to a blog or some other site when/if BIS decide it was not allowed. The main reason you would attract more negative attention than normal is because it is not out yet for PC and its a hot topic in the news. Release it mid way through 2015 and no one would bat an eyelid. I have seen plenty of "inspired" and ported stuff in arma. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
