CSE Mod versus AGM

Hello all,

I was wondering if there are any better reasons for using CSE over AGM or vice versa. My group I'm with currently is in a decision process between the two, and we aren't numbered enough to make a good decision. We are going for an US Army based realism unit.

That is why I'm here, to get all of your opinions on the matter as well.

If it needs to be then hopefully a moderator would be kind enough to move it, but I figured this is the Discussion thread for Mods in Arma 3.

This is the description of this forum as BI has put it: "This forum is for discussing addons or mods that are currently work in progress, as well as for discussing ideas or requests for addons."

Both CSE and AGM are WIPs because they aren't at a final version, I know CSE is much newer on the mod market. And since both mods aren't finalized, I was wondering if anyone had a preference for one or the other.

This thread may even have a better home in the Addons & Mods Complete forum, but since this would be a discussion topic, I figured this was reasonable.

Think about using both, we do and it works perfect, we use the medsys of AGM and the Interactions stuff of AGM so players only have to use one Interaction Menu. But also we have some CSE Modules placed such as Backblast and other...

AGM has backblast so why use CSE?

My clan uses AGM for interaction, backblast, goggle cleaning (they get dirty over time), we use xmed for our medical system. We have never tried CSE.

We use a combination of both. For AGM, we just remove the module for what features we don't want or that overlap and host it ourselves on our repo. Likewise for CSE the modules aren't placed.

Since AGM and CSE both have their own menu systems, for the group I play with I consolidated some AGM options to the CSE menu. It's on Github if anyone wants it.
