Ordered AmrA3 Aug 30. Where is it?

It is now the 17th and Im still waiting for my disc copy of ArmA3 to arrive. I emailed BI studios and they just said "

I'm sorry but in that case you need to contact the store you ordered the

game from as our store does not offer DVD versions, these are released

by regional publishers.

If you ordered the game in BIstore, it is a global digital distribution

version, not a DVD.

It means BIS doesn't sell disc copies. Contact the store you bought yours from.

It's definitely digital, you must just have read it wrong.

EDIT: You might be able to get a refund and then order it through Amazon or something and get the physical copy.

You do realize that arma 3 is a steam only game anyway, there is literally no benefit whatsover to buying a disk as far as I know,unless you live north korea, bistudio store literally just gives you a steam redeem code when you buy on that site, that's what I got.

Sorry man but it looks like you may have ended up in a very stressful situation for yourself, for no good reason

Anyway if you follow the insutructions I wrote above you should be able to just get it on steam, I was actually incorrect when I said "redeem code" I forgot, you just log in with steam guard and it gives it to your account (dont worry its legit, its not like shady or something)

Sorry if I seem like, offensive or crude but man im rofling right now

Also, not sure why they would give you a refund... dont want to sound harsh but is your fault, ie: refunds are usually on given if a) its broken for some reason that isnt your fault b) it is never shipped to your house and it isnt your fault c) there is a billing error and its not your fault

Again sorry, but overall yeah I never even heard of disc copies of this game... Im going to guess its probably just a steam redeem code but dont quote me on that.

Its ok Mike. So I guess I need to redeem some code? I did buy it from the BI page. I just didn't know it was digital only and it was half off for just that particular day. What I don't understand is if there is no hard copy then why do they need our shipping information? And do you know when I download the game from Steam will I be able to re download it again later? I plan to upgrade my computer in a few weeks.

ArmA2 has a new patch? Man I've been inactive for too long. Will I be able to mod the sounds on it as well as like ArmA2? Of course, I most likely won't just yet, I'm not even done with CSM3 for ArmA2. I know there are several sounds mods for Arma3 and I asked for some help and I get no response meh,

yeah man, if you need help patching just buzz me on steam, when i patched it took me 5 full days of crying, gnashing my teeth and bickering with dwarden, but in the end i found there was land on the other side of the atlantic... since then i've helped many others follow to the promised land, but doing it first was a headphook.

I can get players up and running in under an hour...

a bit annoying when there are 10 guys playing a mission and 10 guys in the patching support queue, but these days everyone has it fixed up, so i am happy to help other "old guard" community players

There is no point in buying a DVD copy of Arma 3. You will have to play it throught Steam ANYWAY, and once you have it on Steam - you will have it on the Steam forever (you can uninstall and install it again for unlimited times), and in that point your DVD copy is useless.

Thanks man, yeah, I finally downloaded it from Steam. I notice though that my computer graphics is very sluggish during gameplay in Multiplayer but in single player gaming its fine. Has this always been a common issue?

try -nologs

as the new 1.63 decided to report loads of stuff that all the mod and mission makers who have moved on, or cba to fix, as there's not really a problem, have in their scripts. so -nologs is vital. also you need new @CBA_CO for most mods with 1.63, old CBA triple set is dead.
