Ok so , Janus, does that mean weapon resting is currently not functional?

Since I did hit the button, re bound etc and nothing happens, is it only for certain "bipod" weapons or something?

Also just a suggeston while I am at it, try to stay away from those top right corner black "hint" box things,

(for instance, if you have seen the weapon rest on AGM, that sort of box in the right side that it shows)

I like that whole black white style you guys have done with the UI so maybe try to change those little hint box things on the top right to something more "CSE style"

Not sure if it's entirely broken or just quirky at the moment, but it's getting replaced either way :) It's not just for bipod weapons, but those will obviously be better with remaining steady (at least when the update hits).

As for hint boxes, I agree, especially since they stay shown for quite a long time. We're looking at expanding upon the white-and-black bar thing with some more functionality without getting in the way of the action. Not sure if it'll be finished before the update, we'll see.

Weapon resting kind of works. Problem is that when you rest a weapon it will for some reason reoduce the recoil of the weapon when you fire it, but it does not have a big impact on the sway of the weapon itself.

About the first aid kit suggestion.

This would also work fine if you had a second item like a stitching kit that you use to seal up wounds and prevent them from opening up again. However this item should be a one use item like normal bandages. Another nice touch would be a setting inside the module for this where you can set up what type of wounds can get sealed by it. So you could set it up in a way that not all wounds could get closed up but only small or medium wounds etc.

I would prefer this over the option you mentioned but I guess your one would also do fine. For this to work you would hover make it so that you could set the different options separately from each other. Meaning that you could set it up like this:

Full heal is only possible by medics in a medical facility.

Stitching is possible by medics everyhwhere.

On both cases you would use up the first aid kit.

Will have to see... I like the idea of a second kit, but only if I can get a proper looking model done for it.

Roger that.

We are pretty much at a dead end with the exploding helicopter bug. We can prevent it by adding the line in the init I mentioned earlier but only for one time. When a new heli spawns it will explode again in a endless chain. We tried forcing in various ways to fix this, but with no positive results. Also we have no idea why this happens in combination with the basic revive module from cse. Has anyone else tried to figure this out yet?

Hi, i'm having trouble running CSE on my dedicated server. Whenever I try to run mission that is using CSE I get following error:

EDIT: I fixed the problem by renaming all the files to lowercase letters like said in this thread.

Doesn't seem to find the pbos/anything in them... Are you sure the server is loading those mods? No idea how your server is set up.

From the ./arma3server I'm assuming it's a linux dedicated server, could you try running a dedicated server under windows on your own PC, same files/config, see if it's an OS-related issue? Would be weird if it were, perhaps path symbol (/ vs \)?

Thanks for quick reply. The problem is not in the way I start the server, task force and asr_ai3 are working fine. It would seem to me that the server is not loading the CSE or does'nt see pbos. I have no idea how to check for it however, since I can't find rpt files anywhere. Oh, and yes, it's linux.

We seem to have a issue with the basic revive module. If it is activated it will cause a chain of neverendign explosions if a vehicle gets destroyed while a player who is alive is inside it. We tried changing the hits while unconscious parameter to pretty much everything but the problem still exists. Any suggestions?

Hi, could you PM me the full server .rtp file? Hopefully that gives us some more insight in what is going wrong for you.

Hey guys, GREAT mods, been using this for a little while now. One of the issues I noticed recently though is that with the mission VTS (it's a zues like mission, similar to MCC) We can't seem to use the shop included in that mission to buy gear. It says "you do not have enough room for xyz".

This only happens with CSE enabled. I also tried modulizing CSE down to just the medical system (which is fantastic, and a must have for tactical gamers) but was still getting that error with the mission. Unfortunately due to the nature of the mission, it seems to break it entirely if i add the modules in.

So I guess my question is, with the medical system in place, does it alter the carrying capacity of stock uniforms, rigs, and bags?

Or does someone know how to edit VTS, with out breaking it?

Interesting. Could I get in contact with you (skype, steam, jabber, whatever) to try and figure out this issue? Feel free to PM me in this regard.

Because.. I just downloaded this VTS mission thing, added the CSE Medical System module and ran it and there was no problem getting stuff from the shop. No RPT errors either.

I tried throwing every CSE feature I could think of at it, either, including some that aren't released yet. No issues.

No, none of the carry capacity is getting changed by anything in CSE.

For those of you whom are having issues with the infinite explosions and basic revive, there is now a hotfix available.

You can download it from here.

Replace the cse_f_eh.pbo and its signature file from the download above by the files found in this hotfix.

This will fix only the infinite explosions bug. No other changes.

Because.. I just downloaded this VTS mission thing, added the CSE Medical System module and ran it and there was no problem getting stuff from the shop. No RPT errors either.

I tried throwing every CSE feature I could think of at it, either, including some that aren't released yet. No issues.

You bet man, add me on steam, it's the same name there as here. I will be hosting tomorrow and will show you.
