Sever-Log gets flooded by errors!

Hey guys,

I know the thread title isn't the best but actually I get many errors on my server. Some I get always and I don't care about that much and some just since my last Server Update and/or Mission Update.

This is my mod string:

These errors annoy me the most, cuz I think the slow down the mission load (it takes AGES):

Client: Object 3:10 (type Type_88) not found.

Error: Object(3 : 10) not found

I really hope someone can help me. I'm a bit annoyed of all that xD

FYI: I rent my server and not host it by myself. The server hoster is a good and well know one from germany and I never had THESE problems. The Server is up-to-date!

if you dont like errors use the -nolog startup parameter. :)

lots of your errors seems to be related to some of the mods you are using.

as for:

Client: Object 3:10 (type Type_88) not found.

Error: Object(3 : 10) not found

I dont have a clue. are you running dev branch?

is it a old mission your using while the map has been updated. map ids updated ?

maybe someone else can shed some light on what it means.

As I said, some errors I don't care about after I get them everytime and the didn't bother me anytime.

Actually that error is the one, which annoys me the most xD

Mission and Server are - as I said - up-to-date!

It all depends on your definition of 'error'.

There aren't that many genuine errors in there - there's a lot a needless RPT spam in there that means nothing and there's a lot of warnings that don't really affect the game or the mission. In my opinion there's nothing in that RPT that would kill a mission.

Also, the object not found errors won't slow your mission down. Until you're writing more than 50 lines a second to the RPT, it really won't slow the mission down.

I got the loading time down meanwhile so its really not the errors that made the mission load that long. THanks a lot. I would consider this topic as solved! ^^

I'm sorry but how did you solved? We're experimenting the same long loading time on our server (Nitrado Gameserver) and at the moment we don't have any apparently reason for this. We use latest mod versions of CBA, MCC, ACE3, ASR and ACRE2 and nothing else.

So, how did you solved?

Add -nologs to your startup parameter, it will stop the rpt from getting spammed if there is alot of errors, or spammed messages, rpt wills till be created

but nothing will be posted to it other then title and misc info related. You can try that client side if you want to see what it does.
