kavoven 4 Posted July 15, 2014 Am I the only one who thinks that Neuer deserved a red card after his jump kick? He was in his zone and reached the ball first - where is the problem? After all, the other team was trying to beat Germany by disabling one player after another. Many, many brutal fouls... The referee wasn't nice at all to the Germans. JdB 151 Posted July 15, 2014 I feel that the general level of the referees this tournament in regards to heavy fouls and challenges with the intention to injure a player was extremely poor. Very few reds cards were given when there were plenty of attempts to break legs and shatter kneecaps.

He totally should have seen red for that. Instead of that the ball went to Germany. I'm in Croatia and I could lusten to the neutral Croatian commentator. After seeing the scene in slo-mo he was like "Wow I can't believe this just happened" And everyone agreed with him.
Xalteva 10 Posted July 15, 2014 Neuer was about to literally kill Higuain ....
