hneel 0 Posted July 10, 2002 In the end I found that some tanks had ran into the forrest and were bumping the trees, with no way to turn back. Another tank was lying upside down, probaly because of speeding downhill. And the BMP had gone back to the original enemy base and refused to leave there. Anyway, I played it again, and this times things went better. I gave each vehicle seperate orders. Not many at once anymore. And I also managed to capture another enemy tank, so I ended up with 6 of them. Oh, BTW, did anyone ever had any succes with atacking the big enemy tank base in the plains south of Dolina? r71 0 Posted July 10, 2002 I did notice they made the tank driver listen better when you are commander. Now they dont go back they same direction like they used too. Left, Forward, Left, Forward............. ahhhhh I will never have to do that again

After about a minute of trying to get them to watch sout, i ordered all to disembark, put them all up on a line and shot them... Damn Resistance, anyway... i wont the mission by placing mines and using my beloved rpg. Also, it seems like the mission is scripted so u HAVE to leave and not stay and fight the gunships. I killed one of the hinds with my rpg, but the other one didnt wanna die. After 3 rpg in its arse and still flying, i gave up. I think they made it invinsible

Espectro (DayZ) 0 Posted July 11, 2002 Ya, some of the campaign missions in ressistance is crap. Like in the map wher eu have to destroy some gunships, if u steal a chopper they just placed 8 shilkas or something to prevent it, not to mention that you cannot fly a long way until a trigger comes... So much for the freedom in res :/
EBass 0 Posted July 11, 2002 Well I like the way you can do some missions your own way. I just passed the blow up chopper one and then the game always crashes on start of the next, it loads and then a black screen. How close am I to end anyway? On the blow up chopper one I just loaded up on 5 RPGs told me team to feck off. Just go down the bank so they cant see you and blow up all choppers with ur RPG and run away

Anyway, I managed to fly one home. But it wasn't very useful, as I never saw it back in a later mission.
Kermit 0 Posted July 12, 2002 The solution to that is to not fly over five meters above the ground. Real chopper pilots fly that low to avoid anti aircraft fire. It's hard, but that's what makes Operation Flashpoint fun, right?

What I did was to kill the crew of the T72 that was patrolling the area (hatches open) and capture the tank. With the tank + RPG soldiers I took out the rest of the armoured resistance. Taking the airport was then a piece of cake. After that I just took the V-80 out of the hangar and destroyed the shilkas + T80's that were a bit further away. Then I escorted my ppl home with them riding first in the Mi-17 and later in the truck. Great mission, I would say!
