Stadium running court uses 2 different walking sounds.

Recommended Posts

Took me about 10 seconds to figure this one out. First time at the Stadium, started running across the running court and noticed the sound is completely wrong when running on it.

turns out about 25% of the track has the proper quiet sound while the other 75% has the "walking on rubble" sound.

I can provide video if you want.

Also. Windows on the kiosks at the back plays the window breaking sound but has no visual effect. Coca Cola stand has the metal sound effect but with visible windows.

Then you forgot to remove some plants when you put the Stadium down as now plants are growing through it, Not only on the backside but on the other side as well where the seats are.

There´s also stairs going down to a concrete wall meaning it serves no purpose whatsoever.

Have you given up BIS? Honest question. I´ve been on at the stadium for a couple of minutes and i found this. How can you possibly have missed these things, it´s incredible really.

Is it so hard to tell whatever guys that made the map to remove a couple of plants because they clip through the new object you put there?

Oh look! a tree inside a hotel!

What´s the purpose of a development build when stuff like this gets right through to the final game?

Looks like they based the stadium on the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland. :) That's exactly the sort of things that happen on what might be the most expensive stadium in the world (but then, everyone knows where that money went...).

Seriously, though, the stairs seem to be intended for something that would be placed in that niche. The rest are bugs, though.

It´s a common thread in recent releases where the question "does this make sense?" never seem to pop up at any point during the design phase.

It's not "bugs", it's just pure carelessness and something they think people won't care about so they can't be bothered fixing it (that is unless they do something about it some time soon).

Do you honestly believe a dev would be thinking "Oh here's a tree inside this building, oh well, no one surely notices, I'll just leave it here."?

I doubt it.

they won´t fix this. All of this went straight through the Dev build and into the "final" game.

How many have tried the new Wipeout aircraft and instantly, within 5 seconds realized something was wrong with it? I´d make a guess and say 100%.

Since the guys at BIS is intelligent people i therefore must assume they have never actually flown the Wipeout.

That´s also another thing that has been totally ignored in the Dev build even though there´s a thread about just that. It went straight through into the final game. What´s going on guys? Honestly.

Yes, I do. Because if they cared about fixing it it would have been done before it was even released in the dev branch. Also I've seen similar things in other places in Arma 2 and 3. The guy who did that building and added it to the map would've gone around the whole thing looking at it, he would've definitely noticed a tree going through a wall or grass under the concrete etc. yet nothing was done about it.

Just stop with the content for 6 months and put all resources on fixing everything. The final version is supposed to be the representative version. That´s why there´s a dev build there to make sure everything that finds itself into final release is actually working properly.

It´s in the houses along this path. Provided images showing the map. Also found two more apartments that had trees inside them.

Still in doubt?

Maybe he closed his eyes during the whole process of putting the buildings down.

Edit: in the room with the big tree, you can´t even go out because the tree creates an invisible barrier.

I'm pretty sure BIS will fix this. Why will they fix it? because it's easy...well compared with optimising the game which is the biggest problem by a mile.

Did they fix the problem on the Wipeout? A substantially more severe problem then this.

Did they fix snakes opening doors yet? No, I think that would be pretty easy to fix especially since snakes add nothing to the game and most people wouldn't care about them being removed completely especially to fix such a ridiculous issue. Snakes that go around disappearing through walls and opening doors do not improve the game in any way whatsoever.

that the old thing with the BIS dudes - not one new realaise model is 100% testet and fixed ^^ all time the same ofp arma arma 1 and 2 and now in 3 .

i think they don't realise how much more they work to do with it. and what it poses for a bad picture on their work .....and the more time and more money what it costs.

I do not understand what's so hard about to bring a model out , which is completely checked.

- textures looks the same to the other camos and colours ? check !

- models all on the right position turret ? check

- moving in all directions good ? check !

- animations and weapons work ? check !

- sounds all work ? check

- explosions and particle effects work ? check

- damage model work ? check !

- crew in the correct position? check !

ok its final we bring it to the DEV version and look for bugs ^^ never you will see this :)

I'm pretty sure BIS will fix this. Why will they fix it ?

äh lool this is bi from czech ^^ and they have a other mentality to quality ;)

small examples :

remember you the BTR in Arma two - unplayable in the first person , driver has milk class ^^ after two jears or longer they have need to make chance the nice interior to a black hole sight ^^ this was a game breaker for first person dudes - the mhq driving with milk class ...

BAF addon - merlin - they have no crew on the copilot seat bug .... and the merlin is the ground model for the Mohawk. and after years you see the same bug in this copter he was never fixed ( now yes after a year :D ) - in army 2 not ^^

and we have many many things in the bug traker, very simple things which looks while playing any ! and there was never fixed ;) after years.

in many models from arma 2 and OA you have seen in lower lods the textures from OFP ^^ example the t-72 has in far lods the texture from the t-72 ofp resistance tank ^^

and all that you can save when you test the goodies! and play self with it ;)
