If you're looking for something armed and not vanilla I do have my Hawk UAV, which is armed, but less than the stock helo though. EricJ 759 Posted November 1 Okay right now I'm pretty much on a chill setting for mods. The Taliban Fighters is pretty much where its at and so on. The EricJ Weapon Pack has one issue and that's the Barrett M468. I don't know how the texture ended up missing, but somehow I deleted it. I asked ADuke if he's got a copy of the texture so I can insert it and kill that error. Overall, not much for the EricJ Helicopter Pack. I do have something to fix, but it's not game breaking, so I'll hold off until inspiration strikes me. As sorta hinted I wanted (and I think somebody hinted at it), a UAV able to transport human or AI players around, but mainly for milsims and the like. Also for the future (whenever I get my hands on it), I'm not sure if I want to put the SA-2 Samson in the helicopter pack, or standalone, but I may move it to standalone, and need to get a hold of James Cameron (it would be the good thing to do to at least ask if it's okay, failing that who knows) and at least cover my butt as far as IP issues and the like, but that's for the future. I've been mainly focusing on mission stuff and adapting missions for play. I don't know what's more popular, SP or MP missions, so I just make them and hope somebody plays them. Some of my missions have shown to be popular, but it's hard to gauge what people like with some metrics and the like. Anyway, I don't have much planned right now, which is nice as I can sorta chill and see what hits my mind in the future. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

EricJ 759 Posted November 2 I'm not able to do it as of yet for a couple reasons: I have a lot of files I don't wish to make public, and I don't know how to set it up. I can look into it in the future and enable stuff if it requires it. If so then I can do it, but not anytime soon, but I'll keep you all posted. And besides it's usually two files (the Helicopter Pack and Weapons Pack) that I list anyway, so I can see still but maybe not worth the effort, but may be in the long run Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

EricJ 759 Posted November 5 Right now I'm practically "feature complete" more or less with the EricJ Helicopter Pack. I really don't have much to add and feel that maybe I can take a good long break from it, hence the two updates today. I was going to post tomorrow but decided to upload it and get it over with, so I can walk away from it for a while until something new comes along and the like. As for other mods, I still have to work on the Kiowa, and tomorrow going to hit it with an attempt to color it better. What templates I have I can do something with it and see if I can't get the right color and get that finished. Not much else is planned and that means probably a few missions in the works down the road and the like. Not much on the plate really, so that's a good thing, but tomorrow the Kiowa at least, get it settled and see what happens. There are some issues with the mapping since the colors don't cover the whole aircraft, I'll post a screenshot of what I'm talking about in my WIP thread when I can. EricJ 759 Posted November 6 With the tapering off of the mods and such, most of the work will focus on the Kiowa and whatever comes along. Right now I'm considering moving the Kiowa from "Alpha" status to maybe at least a workable mod. I don't know when but soon (I don't want to piss off the people at the Arma Discord for another quick update of the same mod and such) I'll take if off it. What's left to do? The GAU-19 is on the list, and have to sit down and find workable reference images. I'm focusing on what was in service. I know of the ATAS and the like, but I don't consider it as actually deployed, as well other than tests it was to my knowledge issued to line units and was used. I'm more familiar with the Hellfires, rockets, and guns. I think now that the mod is almost complete as is, so will go from an "AC" designation to an "RC" designation, and will start off with next update, which will probably be when I get the GAU-19 done. Currently I have other things on my mind, such as the death of my father due to natural complications. There are a few other things going on in other places right now and I'm a bit distracted, so a day off or so from modding might be what I need. I contacted a contact on LinkedIn about the GAU-19, and after doing some thinking, that if the Kiowa only had 30 of them issued, and really not used, I'm not going to kill myself over it. I mean it's a fielded item, but with the amount of them made versus how many helos were made, doesn't really instill some priority, and finding decent ref shots is a pain, so for now (until I change my mind), I'm going to hold off on it, and worry about the HeliSim project, in which I'll do the flight model. Right now no other projects are in the future, maybe the SA-2 Samson if ADuke gets it to me, but I don't have any missions planned to port, but if you do have a request I can see what I can do, but it'll be the "Pilot XX" series, and nothing real custom. Again I'm always open for feedback but right now I don't have much to do but hope I think of something for a mod, or whatnot, but I've been feeling sick and a death in the family sorta wiped me out this week, among other reasons. I may look into the slingload camera for the helos in my EricJ Helicopter Pack and fixing it a bit, making it more like the CH-67, which was the intent with me going over it, but still not satisfied with it. Other news I'm looking for a modder who can do a standalone DSHKA for me, for the Taliban Fighters (formerly Units, I know it's above) as I tried to make a configged .50 (raised) for the mod, but it didn't work out too well, and maybe if somebody could help with configging it, I would appreciate it though if somebody can send me a config that allows me to do that. Otherwise, I am looking for a completed model (good quality as well of course), that the Taliban can use for missions, and for a few missions I'm working on (the Pilot XX missions in Clafghan) to add some flavor, and so on.
