converting to PAA.

IS there a special trick when converting from Jpg to Taa to paa so I can keep the full colours. Everytime I have done it so far it seems im getting an almost blue negative effect on all my images.

Save the pic as a png, then open up texview, drag it into it and save as pic.paa..

Always worked well for me..

Your picture size needs to 1024x512 512x256 etc otherwise it will not have the right color. Is this for the mission file you sent to me?

Like marker and cobra said , make sure you keep the files a square size, Ex. 64x64, 128x128, 512x512, 1024x1024, 2048x2048 and so on. You also don't need to use TGA, export from photoshop as PNG-24 and open in Texview. Select DXT1 for regular images such as skins , and DXT5 for images with transparency such as logos with dropshadows.

I only use PNG and PAA and I haven't had any problems with anything.

3D modelers / Oxygen2 users use TGA because when you map a TGA to a model, the tools Auto-convert for you, and repeats the process when ever you update/resave the TGA.
