Low FPS

Hi,

This realase doesn't improve my FPS.

I have 20 FPS maximum!

I had only 20 FPS maximum on these pic. I know it's write 85 FPs on low detail, but this is false, Overwolf wrote 20 fps...

I closed my Logitech software gaming, but it didn't improved my fps :/

AMD 1090T 3.2GHz

ATI 6950 2GO

6Go DDR3 Kingston 2000mhZ

Mouse: G-500 Logitech

Keyboard: Logitech G-19.

Windows 8 64Bits.

I am having the same problem and changing my settings does absolutely nothing to improve FPS. There is another thread stickied already, you may want to post in there as well. Honestly I'm not sure if BI pays attention to these threads but I hope that some attention is paid to all the people talking about this.

My Specs:

MSI z87 gd-65

i7 4770k w/ h100i

16gb ddr3 1866 ram

SLI Gtx 780 superclocked ACX Cooler

Coolermaster HAF X

Windows 7 64bit

Ah.. initially I tought the same.. the only way to have better FPS would have been to increase the clock speed (due to the old engine based on 2 cores..), but it's not going to work, I've tried with 1.5ghz variation and the fps changed only slightly. In other words there's nothing you can do... neither crazy overclocking will helps.

I go from 30+ to 7-11fps the day the game is released. Oh well, at least I had a couple of months of alpha and beta. I just joined a clan and now I'm embarrassed I'll have to bin the game :'(

there was a kind of roll back in the dev branch to be synchronized with stable release gedöns so all optimizations are gone till next monday. Then we will get 100fps min. :p

But according to the recommended specifications I should get a playable Framerate, I am getting 10-25 FPS in single player games and 2-10 In Multiplayer. Definitely not playable at all. My specs are: AMD Phenom II 920 x4 @2.8Ghz Processor, Sapphire HD5850 1G Xtreme Graphics Card, Gigabyte MA-GA790X-UD4P Motherboard, 4GB DDR2 800 Memory, Western Digital 500GB 7200RPM HDD(defragged). It does not seem to matter what settings I have I get the same frame rate. Any help from BIS Would be great or anyone for that matter.

Sorry mate, many have way better cpu/gpu with the same problem. You have to low Objects and view distance and wait for BIS to optmize the game.

BTW: New Nvidia Driver 327.23 from today seems to improve my frames a little bit .. i would say about 5fps.

Could be my imagination, but seems to be more fluid now.

I tried with this new update on different servers. Some has a little difference, on a server with ~10 players and side mission + Main obj= 30 FPS.

But when i'm at the base with all vehicules + ammo boxes = 15-20 FPS! I have to leave the base to hope have better FPS.

In editor on Altis i have 35 - 90 fps on ULTRA settings, AAx8 ect..no vsync on 1920 x 1200.

BUT in multiplayer for example on co40_AW_Invade_&_Annex_2_51.Altis i gave 15 - 25 fps only.

I dot know HOW good cpu you must have to run this kind of coop missions on 60fps?
