Scorpio 0 Posted August 11, 2002 Well after all those stupid versions of the F-16 coming out, i think its about time i ask the community what they want. I'm in the process of making the F-16 Final version, and i would like to know what you people would like on it. I've added and fixed the following atm: - New gears - Tinted Cockpit - No more mavericks on the wingtips - Sidewinders on the wingtips - Fuel Tanks - The whole model is larger and a whole lot of other bits and bobs. It works nicely in all versions now. I was thinking of adding a new sound aswell. Anything you people want to see just post it here... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

shernt250 0 Posted August 11, 2002 FIX THE LIGHTS! there should be a green light a red light flashing on the ends of the wings! And the nosegear landing light is shining on the bottom of the plane under the cockpit, instead of the area in front of the aircraft. This is for both the f16 and the mig29 and make the handling alot more stable to fly i always crash when i=ever i fly them with my joystick.New Jet sounds! Anyway thx for reading and for making a new f16 and mig. Oh and also re-texture the mig with the light grey to dark grey cammo scheme, like the german mig and add the two red stars on the wings and maybye the rudder. Thx. Meaning for example you can't have both Mavericks and Smart Bombs. You can however have missiles and rocket pods, because they work in much the same way as a guns within the engine. This is why all the addons out there have just Sidewinders or Mavericks or Smart Bombs and not a realistic combination of many different armourments. It is a shame because a realistic load out is imposible. shernt250: The lighting on the aircraft I seem to remember is generic and can not be altered. And the textures on the mig - you people saw green and blue, It should of been green and grey - i fixed that too. Here is a list of new features for the mig: - Completely new model (this time low poly ) - Improved Textures - Red Engine changed to black (more realistic) - Tinted cockpit changed to normal texture - Changed name of Rockets - Changed name of Missiles - Cannon made more explosive and new sound - 2 versions: 1) With Fuel Tanks, Tri-Grouped Missiles, and Rocket Pods. 2) A more realistic weapon loadout - 6 AA-10 Alammo missiles. Those are about the main things that I would have asked to be fixed on the Mig-29. Oh...also make sure it has the little laser designator bulge in front of the cockpit. It doesn't have to work (unless you could figure out how to make it work) but it just adds to the realism. The more details and cool little things you can add to the model, the better. A ground attack version would be nice also. But the main thing is that it flys well, and has a decent AA loadout. Also don't put a tinted cockpit on the Mig-29. I've never seen that on a Mig-29, although I think I have on the F-16. Anyways...on the M16 those fixes you mention sound good. I hope to see a version with bombs as well. Keep up the great work!
