Loving the performance brought with Beta!!!

Great work!!! (on SP) :D this looks so great and runs at 60 fps on my measly 560 ti at 1920x1080!

Multiplayer is still unplayable for me. I get a solid 60 fps in SP 100% of the time but only get 28 fps in multiplayer with the same settings even on servers with 10-15 players

Yes, the recent updates improved my performance drastically! GTX660, running almost all settings maxed out, 40-60fps!

The fps display on the video settings really helped me choose the right settings too! Good work on that BIS!

still get terrible fps in multiplayer though... must be server side lag limiting client fps

Nobody had issues in SP, or maybe minority.

In MP nothing has been improved, maybe it's even worse.

Agreed, although I get more like 40fps with the same card and i7 2500k.

Yeah, it's not ideal performance yet, but it's a pretty big step beyond Alpha (in SP, at least). I hadn't really even played much Alpha because of the performance issues, but coming back at Beta makes me want to play more (that, and new content). Keep it up, guys!

I'm still puzzled how onces performance will lower on a remote connection to a dedicated server... a lot of calculations is moved from client to server and yet client usually suffer much lower performance compared to same scenario where client is hosting/playing on same box.

This is what has confused me also.

I've complained about performance before and people kept telling me its the AI... But Multiplayer doesn't have client side AI so if anything it should be faster

Has there been an improvement? I've lowered my settings so I wouldn't know.

Anyways I'm also using the GTX 560 Ti (Hawk, I think) and a 2.84 GHz processor and I'm running it at standard settings in 40-60+ fps with an average somewhat above 50 in tests and that's alright.

Now screen tearing is becoming an issue :(

I'm on a 560 ti running on pretty much ultra except AA is either x2 or off. And I also keep obj quality on high only. I maintain 55-60fps the entire time. Also turn view distance down a tiny bit along with SSAO to standard. It still looks like ultra but it handles scenes better.

Oh, I've got 1920x1200. Just realized I've forgot to mention that in a lot of threads. I've got everything maxed except for visibility 1600/800/116, objects and terrain standard, shadow high, post processing all 100, SSAO/FSAA/ATOC off.

Only done testing in Showcase: Infantry. Gonna have to try other Showcases, flying, night and test PIP and see if there’s any way to stress dynamic lights too.

Forced? There are two blur sliders already.
