Random Enemy Spawn Script

Hi guys,

Thats my first post in this forum. I'll try to give you all the informations needed. ^^

What do I want to make?

I should tell you, I'm not the best mission builder and I'm much worse when it comes to scripting.

My clan and I want to make a Mission which is kinda like "dynamic". What do we mean?

We want to have random encounters when we are patrolling around the map.

Thats why I need a Random enemy script and it should spawn enemys mostly in towns. A bit like the Ambient Civilian Modul, just with enemys.

I do know about the Ambient Combat Modul but it doesn't spawns that much enemys. I only spawns a few patrols scattered around the map.

That isn't enough to keep the funny...

Thats mostly what I want to have. A script that spawns enemys inside towns....like in that mission.

Is this somehow possible?

Hey just use DAC and RUIS the two best random scripts around hands down. The DAC also has random camps that you can setup. I have added both of them to a domination edit and makes for a very dynamic environment.

Thanks for your help.

Gonna try these things out later.

If have another Idea. Is it possible to spawn enemies within a trigger. Like I place a circular Trigger above a City (let us say 50x50) and within this Trigger - after activation - spawn random enemies (not only one...more! xD) Even Vehicles and enemies in houses.

Is that somehow possible.

Place an enemy soldier on the map. He is a group leader and set his probability to 100%.

Place 8 more enemy on the map and group them with the leader. Set the probability of each one to 50%.

Every time the mission starts, the number of enemy will be anything from 1 - 9 with an average of 5 but you can never know!

Those 8 men should have different weapons:

2 should have standard rifles

2 should have sniper rifles

2 should have RPG (without rifles)

2 should have machine guns

That way, if you kill an enemy with an RPG, you never know, there might be another RPG man out there!

Now, the leader should be given a Seek and Destroy waypoint. Give the waypoint a radius of 500 meters (which is a diamater of 1,000 meters)

The second waypoint too should be a Seek and Destroy waypoint with a radius of 500 meters.

The third waypoint should be placed near to the first waypoint - this should be a Cycle type waypoint.

Every time the mission starts, you don't know how many enemy or what weapons they have.

The enemy will patrol to the first waypoint (a place in a circle of 500 meters radius at random )

Then patrol to the second waypoint (a place in a circle of 500 meters radius at random )

Then patrol to the first waypoint (a place in a circle of 500 meters radius at random )

etc etc etc for ever and ever.
