kilroy the nerd 14 Posted June 23, 2013 (edited) So far we only have a random quad bike and offroad as far as vehicles go, and all the civilians seem to be wearing polos and shorts. Meanwhile in past games, we've had tractors, buses, police cars (though there have been police bars found for the offroad, as well as a police car red offroad with red and blue light bars seen in an E3 showcase), Cold War era rides (though that may end since in one of the videos in Gamescom we saw what appeared to be a racing car in the campaign), ambulances, etc. I'm just curious if we'll have more variety in civilians, at least before release anyway. In the past these things were greatly useful for the Life missions, or things like cops and crooks, as well as just racing missions or silly things. Yeah, it'd make no sense if we only had a few men in polos and shorts, and 2 offroad vehicles with various paint jobs though. I just hoped we'd see it sooner. All we've seen outside of that is the car you have a picture of, the cop car there, and some girl in a bikini running through the water and swimming with some NATO divers. Do you have a source from a dev saying it was impossible (I use that word sarcastically because nothing is impossible) to have bikes in the game? On topic: I'm pretty sure it's being held off for final release. You can see a lot of different vehicle wrecks that might "tease" the possible vehicles we'll see. I've seen a mini flatbed truck and that car from the screenshot in wreck form. kilroy the nerd 14 Posted June 24, 2013 (edited) It'd be cool if we could have a cockpit-over-engine truck, like the MAN trucks or Scania or such, maybe supply the local market with imported goods in the toughness of war. Also, a showcase like the one in Operation Arrowhead in Zargabad, letting us just run around as a civilian would be very nice, running in Myrina's street markets, on a boat with the fishermen. I liked those faction showcases, never a shortage of ridiculous things to do, as opposed to showcases that just show you the things employed in a mission. Showcase: People of Altis And to add on, just looked back through the thread and... Wait, what's this scooter about?
