CSA38-45 - Czechoslovak army 1938-1945

What is new in BETA:

CS.

- arttilery soldier

- officers

- SOS units

WH

- officers

equipment:

- cs.binocular

- wh.binocular

- wh. smoke grenade

- wh. dynamite explosives (small,medium,large)

models:

- map stand

- cover for MG barrel

- cover for grenadelauncher

abilities:

- wh. pioneer can disassemble anti infantry obstacle(static on the map)

map:

- Marenice now is completed (ver.1.0.0)

FIX:

- speed of all tanks is decreased (according to real speed of tanks)

- cs. pistol sounds

- better LODS

- other bugs reported by players

Hey I truly love the attention to detail in this mod, I have just a few questions.

- Are you going to include a class list for weapons and ammo (would love to be able to make missions with custom loadouts using these nice weapons)

- Are there any plans to make it ACE compatible (only thing that currently doesn't work in ace is the demo charges)

- Are there any plans for motorized vehicles and more civilian variation (I love how this mod included civilians that fit the era)

1. Class list is WIP

2. Ace compatibility is not our priority. But we can look what can we do with it ;)

3. Now Petr is working on Opel Blitz and then Praga RV so answer is yes. (and more civilians? maybe :lookaround: )

My question is, This beta is a substitution of the previous alpha, or has to be used as a patch? Then, Is the mission pack previously included being remade, or it has to be downloaded from a different link?

Really sorry for double- posting...

It seems I hit some dead- end atm.

After I downloaded the new version of your mod yesterday, I'd only have time for some minor testing...

I just recently tried to further modify a mission I did using the alpha of your mod, failing misserably.

"No Entry 'bin/config.bin.CSA38_Firedust_small"

I'm not getting past that error- message ... any ideas maybe???

:) I know.. you use germans tank in year 1939? :) I am deleted "firedust" , in ArmA II its unnecessary in mod...I mus now fix too simpl addon..

I guess you know what I'm talking bout then... :yay:

Just a guess into the blue, because I'm not too keen with all this stuff:

The fix contains the file "csa38ii_tracked2" which seems to hold the files for your T-34 and Cromwell addons. (also cool stuff, I'll need to add them to my Iron Front for Arma- install someday... :cool: )

Maybe the fix should include the file "csa38ii_tracked3" to get the German tanks of September '39 to work correctly again????

1) how to build HMG in mission No.6. I have for players video....

2) Sniper rifles in mod....yes in mod its sniper rifles..- K98k and G98.... G98 have two performance... 5Rnd magazine and 25RnD magazi. :) confused G98 and K98b

Thanks for the quick fixing, the "German tanks in September 1939" are working flawlessly again. That's some quality customers service :).

But another small issue I stumbled upon recently:

If I start my mission through the editor, all grenades (also the smoke ones) are working just fine.

But if I now do pack said mission into a .pbo and export it to my single- player missions, I'm no longer able to change my weapon using the F- key, there's no reaction at all...

Third party mods I'm running with your mod are the ASR_Ai mod, JTDFire and the RugDSAI sounds (only the German voices).

Also I observe that small bug only with your German Heer units by now, still need to check if other units are having that problem as well.

Maybe you have some idea about it??

:) The problem with our units or other? Our units are used for Throw not weapon "Throw", but "csa38_Throw" and for put not weapon "Put" but "csa38_put", but weapons "Put" and "Throw" haven Our units in weapons too, but wheh you enetr "removeallweapons this", you deleted "csa38_Throw"...:)..And problem with .pbo? You make .pbo as direct export or makepo .pbo help down from binpobo?

The unit in question at the moment is the German Heer "Non Commissioned officer - MP28". So this is one of yours... ;)

In the Init of said unit I have used:

- "this addweapon "Binocular"; this addweapon "ItemCompass"; this addweapon "ItemWatch"; this removeweapon "itemradio"; this setidentity "Theo";" - (Theo is a identity defined by me, working fine)

And I did use "Arma PboView" to pack my .pbo file, no direct export...

And a side note: not only your units do show that bug, the Polish soldiers from "September 1939" do show that exact same behaviour in that exact same set- up.

If you like, I could send that mission to you, so you can try on your own.

:) I am testing... Czech soldier not problem...in my test, but german soldier yes.. I make at fix, I seeking bug :)... maybe the wrong order weapons in config...
